I always loved this song...but it's older and a lot of younger people might not remember it at all. She did vocal harmony in 2005 with Brad Paisley. Yes, it's kind of a tear jerker. But it stresses faith, shared love, and the message in the video is such a good one.

I really like that duet that they did together.
I remember 6 months after my Dad passed away, it was Christmas, the first without him.
Our son, as well as the rest of us were a bit stressed at the thought of the holiday without him.
Our son had my husband pour everyone a shot glass of Canadian Club whiskey (Dad's brand) and our son played this song and my husband made a little toast to a gathering without him in person, but with him in spirit. And that song played in the background. It actually brought us all closer.

You know, I have seen people who are avowed atheists praising Dolly’s faith and testament to it. “Be doers of the word, and not just hearers.” And Dolly certainly was. Great song.

Dolly was believable to everyone, as she was so open and honest and down-to-earth. She showed her faith with love and kindness--and actions!
She really was an incredible human.

I almost didn't post this song, because several members have recently lost a loved one. And I know it made me cry when I first heard it, too. But it has such a good message and so much assurance that ''when I get where I'm going'' made more sense to a lot of people who didn't believe that way.

I don't know if anyone in the world can describe Dolly Parton, because there has never been anyone like her, and I don't think there ever will be anyone that ever matches Dolly.
