A Little Cool Down Here

We had a nice and heavy rain in the wee hours of the morning here, but it cleared out before dawn. We woke up to beautiful blue skies.
I am up and moving around now and see that we only have a high of mid 80's today at 85! That is a nice change from the mid to high 90'S and very welcome!
We are heading to the Jackson, MS area to pick up auction stuff. It will be a nice ride with the weather.

We here a heavy rain on Tuesday. The rain began in the noon and continued for the whole night. But to day and yesterday we had not single drop of rain although the sky is heavily clouded.

Blue skies are a nice thing to see. That does sound like a better temperature too.

It's Friday morning here and it's almost 8am but the sun isn't out when it was supposed to at 6. According to the weather forecast last night, there might be rain this morning.

We had a light rain today. The first time I went out it was with no jacket, so I got a little damp but not too bad. It rained a little harder for a bit, but I was inside by then.

I like the little bit cooler. Hope we go down a little bit more soon! These electric bills are not nice!!

@Tampa_girl7 One hour is bad enough in this heat. Maybe we will get it next week. It won't be a big change, but any change lower is good at this point!

@valherma00 It looks like a lot of rain, so we will be staying home as much as possible this week. Plus my hubby isn't feeling well. I think a trip to the doctor may be in the picture for Tuesday afternoon.
