An A Day!

If you’re not familiar, my two nieces and one nephew are adopted. The official day of adoption is called their A Day. Today is Annelyn’s (pictured) A Day! They got her when she was three days old, but the dumb state said, her birth mom hurt her first kid, she may not hurt this kid. What do you know? Annelyn was in her birth mother’s care two days when she poured boiling water over Annelyn’s lower half (no scars). Well, that was the end of that, and Annelyn hasn’t been out of my sister’s care since.
Annelyn is the funniest of all the kids, and I would never tell the other two, but she’s the smartest too. Amyra and Hudson have their own gifts though (and Amyra will crack you up and is an incredible artist). Annelyn thinks Hudson hung the moon, and wants to be just like Amyra when she grows up.
She’s the best.

Happy ADay Annelyn!
he has THE most adorable smile, she could melt anyone's heart with that, and her eyes.
Two qualities that our Harper shares with her.
Maybe the state made that error, but in the end it is Annelyn, her brother, sister, parents, and extended family who won and gained on that so called error.
I have taken, through posts over the years, that she is incredibly intelligent. I suppose that the future will continue to be the judge of that, and some will be amazed, and some will expect it. I think that I will be one expecting it.

on of my cousin was adopted too. she knew that she was adopted when she has grown up. my mother's sister loved him so much and she didnt have biological sister. love is beyond blood

@nawala123 With my nieces it was pretty obvious because we are white, and they aren’t. So my sister and brother-in-law have always been open with them about it.
