@celticeagle I was told that when you get a call from an unknown number you should just ignore it, meaning let it ring. Do not cancel the call. Do not do anything.

I would have picked it up out of curiosity. Just because it was a repeated call. I’d ignore it once, but eventually answer. However, I think I’m in the minority.

I block calls that come from numbers that don't leave a message. If they can't tell me who they are, I don't care about talking to them. If you don't answer that kind of call, they can't do anything to you.

@lovebuglena That's why I block the number. It doesn't matter how many times they call if I can't hear the phone ring and it doesn't show up "unknown caller" on my caller ID.

@lovebuglena They probably figured if you haven't answered by now, you never will. They just moved on to some other sucker they could scam (I'm not insinuating that you're a sucker, but you know what I mean...there is always someone out there who easily falls for scams).

we have an App named TrueCaller...it automatically displays the name of the caller & indicates in case it has been marked as Spam by other receivers...that ways we can decide whether to pick it up or ignore

If I get a call and it could be spam the phone actually displays that info. It says “spam risk” on the caller ID.

@lovebuglena at times, Spammers take a new connection & start calling...by the time other flag it as spam collectively, it has made calls to 20-30 odd people
