They May Have Found a Replacement For Toilet Paper

It's a mist and will cost a bit to replace the toilets. Plus it will take more electricity. So I wonder how long it will take to actually replace our usual toilets. We have had toilet paper in our lives since 1857. I have a fetish about TP. I have to have a lot around and be assured I won't run out. How can I psychologically be able to go without it stacked in my closet? Won't I still want to wipe? Questions, questions, questions.

Strips of paper towel work just fine.

It sounds like an alternative to a bidet. What do you do about your wet bottom? Won’t you still have to wipe it with something to dry it? Or is there a dryer incorporated into the mist machine? I think I’ll just stick to toilet paper. And I often do!

Yeah, I still feel a subconscious need to wipe.

I think those are sprays/foams you spritz on regular toilet paper and use like wet wipes except you can flush them. Since we already use wet wipes after toilet paper, I don't see much difference. Pretty installed a bidet on our regular toilet and likes using it after using regular toilet paper. I didn't like the bidet experience so started using wet wipes afterward.

The one I was watching is a mist. I remember the bidet addition. I just don't think I will ever get past the need to wipe. It's ingrained in my Grey matter from 74 years of doing so.

@celticeagle I agree. It's hard to break old habits.

We have looked at getting a bidet but it would ripping out the whole toilet so we won't be doing it.

You could check the big-box stores. Pretty bought a bidet that fits onto our regular toilet. She likes it. Me, not so much. I bought wet wipes for use after I wipe with toilet paper.

@DaddyEvil I think we've checked it out pretty thoroughly.
