I agree, cutting a fresh pineapple can be quite a job! But once it is cut and ready, it is definitely worth the effort.

@rakski It can be a little difficult at first, especially getting through the tough skin. Once you get the hang of it, though, it is much easier.

Eww! I will eat a couple of bites of pineapple but then I'm done for a LONG time! You could invite Pretty to come eat some with you. She likes it and gets mad because I don't.

@rakski I'll tell her that. She'll be happy to try some fresh instead of canned.

I love eating pineapples with cottage cheese mixed with it
it's good for people that want to stay at a certain weight
but I like it cause it's a good cold desert I can eat.

@rakski to some like it with cottage cheese
but others don't like cottage cheese, so to me
that's the only way I eat pineapples, but I
get the small fruit cups & pour most the
juice off the pineapples so the cottage cheese
isn't so soupy.

Yes, I do. We even used to get pink pineapple at school.

@septabchips I thought it was just me too. It only happens with fresh pineapple. I'm okay with tinned pineapple.

@Traceyjayne Yes, exactly! It seems to be the fresh pineapple that has a personal issue with the tongue. Tinned pineapple never seems to cause the same problem.

Haha, so it is not just me! Pineapple really does seem to come with a built-in tongue punishment.

Thai pineapple rice sounds really good. I have never tried it, but the sweet and savoury combination sounds delicious.

I do like pineapple but only occasionally. Eating too much does make your tongue hurt

Lol i can understand that, this is probably the major reason most people don't like pineapple despite it's sweet taste. Yes i like pineapple, and i like it when it is chilled. Have you tried mixing it with watermelon?

Do you like pineapple?
