I bought three the other day. I don't know what came into my mind. When I saw it I crave for it. Wrong decision. Though I enjoyed it while eating. It's so sweet and tasty. But now my tongue hurts. Do you like pineapple?

I agree, cutting a fresh pineapple can be quite a job! But once it is cut and ready, it is definitely worth the effort.

@rakski It can be a little difficult at first, especially getting through the tough skin. Once you get the hang of it, though, it is much easier.

Eww! I will eat a couple of bites of pineapple but then I'm done for a LONG time! You could invite Pretty to come eat some with you. She likes it and gets mad because I don't.

@rakski I'll tell her that. She'll be happy to try some fresh instead of canned.

I love eating pineapples with cottage cheese mixed with it it's good for people that want to stay at a certain weight but I like it cause it's a good cold desert I can eat.

@rakski to some like it with cottage cheese but others don't like cottage cheese, so to me that's the only way I eat pineapples, but I get the small fruit cups & pour most the juice off the pineapples so the cottage cheese isn't so soupy.

Too much pineapple does bother my tongue if I’m not careful. I don’t often eat it, but oh, is it good to me.

I like pineapples, but they have to be eaten as soon as possible because the fruit spoils quickly after being picked.

I love pineapples although I know some can be quite itchy. Pineapples are good for insulin resistance so I need to eat more of it. But it is quite rare here in UK.

@septabchips I thought it was just me too. It only happens with fresh pineapple. I'm okay with tinned pineapple.

@Traceyjayne Yes, exactly! It seems to be the fresh pineapple that has a personal issue with the tongue. Tinned pineapple never seems to cause the same problem.

Haha, so it is not just me! Pineapple really does seem to come with a built-in tongue punishment.

Lol i can understand that, this is probably the major reason most people don't like pineapple despite it's sweet taste. Yes i like pineapple, and i like it when it is chilled. Have you tried mixing it with watermelon?
