Say Hello to Our New Visitor!

I walked outside yesterday to see my husband peering into a long piece of pvc pipe and asked him what he was doing. He said, "Oh, just looking into the pipe to see what is in here." He said that he saw something move as he walked by so stopped to check it out.
Of course, after he confirmed that it wasn't harmful, I had to take a look and I found this cute little froggie!! I have to snap a photo of him to share with ya'll.
He looks like a rain frog from what we can tell. He kept moving further away and down the pipe, so who knows!

Haha, I would probably have thought snake too, especially peering into a pipe and seeing something move! Finding a little frog instead would definitely be a relief.

We have a lot of frogs here, many are so tiny. I am sure the lakes attract them. I do hear a bullfrog croaking at night sometimes. I enjoy frogs and turtles, I always have.

It sounds like you have quite a few frogs around there! I like frogs too, especially the tiny ones. Hearing a bullfrog croaking at night must be quite a sound.

@MarieCoyle My grandson would be capturing him for a pet. Glad he is not here! We have bullfrogs here all the time. I hate when they croak all night or start in the wee hours of the morning.

Oh, I love to hear them croaking. To me, it's just a nature sound and it's not disruptive. I think our bullfrog is a lone soldier. He is always in the same location, every year, has to be the same one.

I haven't been outside to see a frog in a long time. You could have dumped him out of the pipe to take a better look at him.

That must have been a lovely little surprise! I would have wanted to take a photo too, especially after finding him hiding in a PVC pipe. It is funny where frogs choose to make themselves comfortable.
