First I loaded my friends stuff with what I bought her Tuesday. She was very happy with the box of mixed mini pumpkins and squash. Then I kept her stuff gathered up as she bought so it was easy to load. I got a dozen ears of corn and a half peck of cucumbers for 3 dollars. They are very tasty. No fun goodies today. Maybe next week. I placed another order for Halloween costumes this time. Me and my friend try to do the same a couple of times each October. We already have matching panda bear pajamas. Now we will have matching capes. Hope you had a good day.

I have heard of ears of corn, but I have never heard of a peck of cucumbers, much less half a peck

I was wondering the same thing when I read that! I have heard of a peck before, but I honestly could not tell you how many cucumbers that would be.

Sounds like such a nice day, those mini pumpkins and squash are so cute for this time of year. Matching capes with your friend is adorable, you two really go all out for Halloween. Hope the corn and cucumbers taste as good as they sound.

I have been eating a lot of cukes and tomatoes lately. My friend Bonnie brought us some fresh corn on the cob and we had it this evening. It was so good!
