I've Had My Window Open Since it Was Still August / myLot

I don't miss August. July was the worst. I've heard that a lot of people had a bad crop year due to the high temps this year. Their gardens didn't do well. Too blamed hot.

I live in my room upstairs. I don't venture outside at all. When it is hot out it is like an oven in my room. We had 5 fans up here this year. Having the temps lower now I have been able to have my window open 24/7 which I really enjoy. I get to feeling claustrophobics if the window is closed for too long. But soon it will get too chilly. Ah well, I must enjoy each and every day of cooler weather.

The veggies growing in our flower bed did okay-ish. I had spinach growing this spring and will plant them again when the temps cool off. I also have some other leafy veggies growing that don't need care since Pretty won't help me water them. Those did alright-ish. Some of them are still growing. (I can't remember their names. but they look pretty all summer long.) I grow some plants inside, as well, that we can eat. I've gotten used to eating elephant ears from my blowerpots in the kitchen and eating oxalis from the flowerbed or the kitchen pots. (Oxalis is the name for a type of clover that tasts tart raw and works well in stews, soups oe with baked meats.)
