If not a cherry, then what?

What’s going on with everyone? I came across these cherries in my cabinet, and was thinking that cherries, of all fruits, make the tastiest desserts. I’m sure I’d get a lot of dissenters on that, but I do love them.

Not a fan at all. My dad loved cherries. I made him Bravetart's Roasted Cherry Ice Cream just before he passed. It was very expensive and very messy but he absolutely loved it and the cherry compote that was left over so of course it was worth it.

That’s such a good memory to have. And so great of you to do. Not that that surprises me.

@AmbiePam I'd do anything for my dad. He was the best guy ever. I'll never make that ice cream again but I keep the recipe in my binder just for the memory.

I like the Bettergoods line of food. In this heat nothing is better than a Cherry Limeade from Braums or Sonic.

One of the huge perks from my state is the availability of cherries. Every summer I buy up pounds and freeze them for winter. So tasty- cherry popsicles if eaten right out of the bag or grand thawed or yum in pie.

And cherries or cherry juice help aid in good sleeping. I can’t afford to do it now, but I used to have some cherries before bed, and it always made me sleep better.

My sons both love cherries. Pie, cherry cheesecake, tarts, whatever. They eat them plain, too.
