My mother and I watched A Desert. She had read about it in an article and decided for us to watch it. We watched it on the Roku Channel, but it's also on Plex, Pluto TV, and Tubi. It has Kai Lennox, David Yow, Zachary Ray Sherman, Ashley Smith, and Rob Zabrecky in it. Big Warning: there is lots of violence and a weird ending. Spoiler Below. In this movie, a man named Alex is a photographer. He mainly takes pictures of abandon places. He want to retrace his steps from many years ago when his book was published. He stayed in a shady motel. He heard a couple fighting and ended up befriending the guy. This was a bad idea because the guy kills Alex. Alex's wife hires a PI who ends up finding out who killed Alex. But before he expose the killer, Alex's wife get kidnapped. She finds out Alex is dead and freaks out. The killer is part of a group who makes snuff films. The PI tries to save her, but in the end he dies and she is assumed dead. We both liked it until the ending. I'm watching next Othello.
