Another Monday Rolls Around

Happy Monday Everyone! it's a nice sunny day here today with beautiful blue skies and white fluffy clouds. Even the temperatures are cooler 
I had another busy weekend.
Saturday was girls afternoon. My middle daughter came to visit with her 2 daughters and my older daughter came over with her daughter. It was really nice having all my girls together and my granddaughters had a good time together. It's getting so hard these days to plan something since everyone is working and schedules are different.
Sunday I got an unexpected visit from my youngest grandson. He's just the sweetest and drove down to spend some time with his Nana We had a really nice visit except when he showed me a picture of his new motorcycle and it looks like something you would race. This kid (he's 18) just loves bikes and I pray so hard that he's safe.
Today my youngest daughter (who lives with me) is leaving this afternoon for a work conference in Connecticut. She'll be gone for 4 days so it will just be me and the pup. It's at least a 4 to 5 hours drive and the conference is at Mohican Sun Casino. Sounds like more fun than work related 
Other than that, nothing much else is happening.
After a busy weekend, I'm trying to catch up here and see what I mssed.

Sounds like a great place for a conference.
Get this......when I do the girl's hair, I take a bath towel and cover their neck and shoulders before I spray water on it, but Grandpa doesn't do that. Today he sprayed Harper's hair, and it is cooler today, and she informed him that whenever Nanny sprays her hair she covers her with a towel. I asked him to do that as the weather changes, otherwise in Harper's eyes Grandpa can do no wrong.

it's funny how the girls compare what you do and what Grandpa does. Seems as if your idea of using the towel was something Harper new she needed but I can imagine that she loves her Grandpa

Good afternoon. My part of the US is still stuck under a heat dome. Our high, I hope, is only supposed to reach 96F this afternoon. (That's still better than the over 100F we've been getting.)
I hope your grandson is careful riding his motorcycle. I always wanted to learn to ride one but crashed every time I tried. I finally gave up and just ride behind good friends when they're willing to take me. (That's called something kinda rude so I won't write it here. 
)
Pretty just called the neurologist's office and asked for permission for my doctor to remove the staples. I'm really ready for that so I hope she calls us back soon.

Motorcycles make me VERY nervous and I wish he didn't have such a fixation for them. I talked to both my son and daughter in law and they agree that they're dangerous but since he's technically an adult they can't really forbid him to have one. So, I pray very hard that he stays safe.
Hope you can get those staples removed soon. I'm sure they're really annoying you now.

That sounds like such a full weekend, getting all your girls together like that is so sweet. Also that motorcycle thing with your grandson would make me nervous too, hope he stays careful out there. Have a peaceful few days with just you and the pup while your daughter's away!
