Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 80 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. It is gorgeous! Work was busy today. I finished the notes with the students. One of my classes won't stop talking and interrupting me so tomorrow they are getting assigned seats. I haven't had to do that in at least 10 years. What kills me is that the in-class support teacher just sits at her desk and does who knows what on her laptop. Like at least go over and stand by them, walk around, do something to help me keep control of the class. I randomly received a text from the former building principal this morning saying that he hoped I was having a good start to the year. I appreciated the message but I was confused. He and I don't text like that. I have no idea why he was thinking of me today. Anyway I'm back at the apartment with the cat crew. I'm sitting down relaxing and catching up on the news/InternetLand. I need to do laundry, the dishes, and make something for dinner. I'll get to all that eventually. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

Well, I didn’t have to take my cable box back to the store because my dad did it. He told me if I went to the doctor he’d take the box back. I took it to mean I looked really bad. Turned out I had a UTI. The doctor keeps telling me I’m too dehydrated. That was kind of that guy to text you (even if it seemed out of the ordinary). And that in class support teacher is getting on my nerves. She’s literally getting paid not to help you.

Good afternoon. It is 97F at 2 pm in my part of Missouri. I stepped outside to check the mail and felt like I was frying in the sun. I'm glad it's more comfortable where you live. That random text does sound strange if he doesn't normally text with you. I wonder what's up with that? I hope it's either something good or just a brain fart on his part. I washed dishes this morning, ran a load of towels and am waiting for them to dry. As far as I know, nothing else is happening here. I hope you have a great afternoon/evening!

I'm sorry to hear that it was so hectic and you're not getting much help from the support teacher. That is so frustrating. I'm still currently at work. Thankfully don't have much longer, but I am really looking forward to going home.

Maybe the text message was perfectly innocent and he hoped you were okay. It could happen.

Can you ask that teacher to do things to help, or is she totally clueless? Why are they paying someone like her, who is doing nothing...I hate hearing this. Can you talk to your principal about her?

I've asked her to do things. She won't.

That weather sounds so nice, wish it was like that here. Assigned seats after 10 years, that's rough but sounds like it had to happen lol. Hope dinner and laundry go easy for you tonight!
