Okay, to be clear, I am not trying to sell anything, and this is not an ad. But I’ve got something rolling around in my head I need to ask your opinion. So you know I get tons of stuff to review for free. I get too much to keep. Do you think anyone would be interested in just buying a random box of goodies? Hundreds of dollars of new items, sold for like $50? I would have jewelry (cheap and not cheap), essential oil reed diffusers, candles, markers, journals, calendars, facial products ranging from $25 to $200…Things like vacuums I’d sell separately. I get random weird things, snacks, bedding sets. Would I need to list everything in the box to gain interest? I don’t really want to make themes. I figure a wide ranging amount of things gets the most interest. Purses, wallets, toys, name brand things and non name brand items. Would talking about it on FB get people I know’s interest? What do you think? I’m not out to get rich, obviously. Once again, this is not an ad. I am not selling anything. I just want your opinion.

That's a mystery box. Companies sell the crap out of them. Youd probably do well.

I see influencers promote these things all the time. One I follow buys them from a company, I forget the name. It would help clean out things that you do not want and do not want to store. It is worth a shot to promote it in groups on Facebook.

I was hoping someone on my Facebook page would want it solely because I really don’t know how to do it “officially”.

It sounds like a good idea. I'm sure you would get a lot of interest. You can list the items on the box. It might even get more interest. It wouldn't look like a random box.

As much as I love getting goodies I wouldn't want stuff that I'd never want or use.

I wouldn’t either, but I love mystery boxes. And $300 of stuff for $50 would tempt me. I think it would appeal to people who don’t have money to buy expensive things because they’d finally have the chance to get something high end. And these things would make for great gifts if they couldn’t use all of it themselves.

Honestly I'd be interested, that sounds like a fun grab bag deal. I think you don't need to list every single item, just give a rough idea of whats in there so people know its worth it. And yeah post on FB, people love a good mystery deal like that.

Mystery or surprise boxes, with pictures of teasers...with money so tight the idea of getting way more than is expected for the money will definitely lure some customers your way!
