My odd morning.

A fella drove up from about 25 miles South of me to buy a single JBL L-100 vintage loudspeaker this morning. The speaker had been given to me by a musician friend (a couple of years ago now), so of course I restored the walnut cabinet and listed the speaker on Craigslist.
I thought the fella was going to yap vintage stereo with me for about 15 minutes, give me maybe $200, and let me get back to drinking "plenty of fluids" and taking plenty of iron pills.
Instead he started taking the speaker apart, checking the internal connections, and doing a lot of talking.
Eventually I was able to send him toddling off with the the speaker and a cool vintage turntable I had in my kitchen cabinet.
I am $250 richer and ready for the pool.

It is a very good price. I think the speaker was manifactured between 1980-2000
