I made a few grocery purchases today, and they were delivered a little bit ago. It’s going to be a chicken salad with blueberries and strawberries. Eva tempted me by her talk about strawberries, 
and blueberries were on sale. I got some raspberry vinaigrette as dressing. It’s going to be good!

@thislittlepennyearns We have a chain called Braum’s, and their pumpkin spice ice cream is phenomenal. But, nothing beats homemade anything. Especially ice cream.

Your salad sounds really good. I got some really red, sweet strawberries last weekend and have been enjoying them all week. I've even added some to my chicken caesar salad

That does sound good! Well, for dinner I'm having string cheese, some chips and a banana. Not much of a cook. Every now and then I will get a wild hair and make something serious, like this corn pudding

@AmbiePam that was my first one, too! It's a great recipe, very simple. I learned to make a spinach and sausage lasagna that came out really well, too. When I got laid off, I was trying to make good use of the extra time I had.

Yum!!!! I love trying different things delicious and easy. Such as, slow cook. Not chopping, no sauteing, no testing. Just leave the frozen meat, add a bit of some things here and there... and viola! :-D
