A woman named Pike was to be executed bit the drug injection failed to kill her. The governor of Tennessee is pausing the death penalty for the rest of the year so they can look into the failure of this execution. How weird! There is even talk of shooting or hanging her. There was also a failure of a man's execution back in 2022.
My question is this: Is there an expiration date on the drugs used? If they don't do these executions very often I would think they might get old.
