Plus some extra stuff
. I got ice cream bars and french loaf bread that wasn't on my list. I had a ham on the list but found sliced ham marked down so I got that package and a package of marked down pork chops. It will be nice to have something besides beef. And I still kept my bill at 100 dollars.
Duke doberman was back to his usual self when I got home. I was glad to see that. It scares me when he gets confused like that with his age.
When I got the jeep it said it was getting 24 miles per gallon of gas. That was still a lot better than my old truck. But now with premium gas in it I have it up to 27 miles per gallon.
My package came today so I won't get a 5 dollar credit. But I have a new dress I can wear tomorrow.
Hope you had a good day.

Beef is so expensive. Ground beef is around $6 a pound at Aldi’s and ground Turkey is around $2. We go through a lot more ground beef than Turkey though.
Paying for premium though costs a lot more so I’m not sure if it really evens out as savings or not.

@wolfgirl569 it’s about $1 more per gallon here. Does it run less there? I was so excited when I got 22 cents off per gallon this past week. My husband was shocked when he borrowed my car and saw my tank was full

We have about a quarter of beef in the freezer yet.
It's not a huge difference so probably saves some. And less stops

I think anything you bought could be included in "everything".
That's really good gas mileage for a jeep!

Sounds like some good deals. Is 24-27 miles per gallon good? I don't even know what my car does lol.
Sorry about not getting the credit. But that's good you have a new dress

Sounds like a solid grocery run, getting marked down ham and pork chops and still staying at 100 is a win. Glad Duke is feeling like himself again, I know that kind of thing worries you with a dog his age. And 27 miles per gallon in the jeep is pretty good, hope the new dress looks great tomorrow.
