A little minute of joy

I meant to post this yesterday. As I left the store a young couple with two very little girls (twins?) Were just ahead of me. They looked to be about 3 at the oldest. Before they reached their car, they all stopped by a gutter. The little girls were doing their best to try to make the very shallow water splash. They even picked up a landscaping rock to drop in the non existent puddle. I will emphasize that they were not in the street, or in any danger, or in anyone's way. Mom let them have a moment or two of play then they went on to get in their car seats and leave. I was impressed that the parents were so chill. No "hurry, hurry", no scolding for being in the water. Just pure fun. It was a thought to make my day.

That does sound cute to see. My son and his wife never ever rush the twins, they are so busy at that age exploring and seeing what they can see. I think it is wonderful. Our granddaughters love to skip and jump through any little puddle they can find.

That is so cool. One of the things I enjoy so much is watching young ones experience life around them.

Makes us remember those tiny little fun times when being in a puddle can bring so much fun.

That is so sweet, little kids can find fun in anything. Nice to see parents who just let them enjoy the moment instead of rushing. Stuff like this really does make the day better.
