Another week is ending. / myLot

Time flies, dear friends. Specially now that I´m looking for a house to live. This evening I was so depressed that I was thinking about going to a senior home. But just as I was accepting that this was the only possibility left, I had a call of one of the people who are looking at houses for me. She had found an apartment on a first floor. I told her that I wanted to see it. And I´m keeping my fingers crossed. We are going to see it next week. After that, I went to cook a delicious salad made with a Chilean brown algae called cochayuyo (Durvillaea antarctica), diced tomato, diced onion and coriander leaves. Anita came today and asked me if I had friends over, but I´m eating it all by myself.

Now I´m happy and ready for bed. Sleep tight.

The first floor will be fine if the apartment is good enough. You may need to do some fixing in the apartment. We were lucky with this one, the kitchen was furnished, not my favorite, but I keep as it is.

I am also thinking about senior houses. I would eventually need a companion and they are very expensive.

An apartment might be okay as long as kids don't live above you. I hated it when kids/young people lived above me. It always sounded like a herd of horses running around above me. I've been wondering how you were doing. I'm glad to know you're still hunting some place to live.

@DaddyEvil At aa senior home I would not need a companion. There will always be people around just in case. And if I like the place near Dixie, I can always go there even for a day or two.

Glad that call came through right when you needed it. Fingers crossed for next week, a first floor place sounds perfect. That salad sounds so good too, I never tried cochayuyo before.
