Brrrr Chilly Day

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Brrrr it's gotten very chilly here and it was so cold overnight. Did I have the heat on? Nope
I didn't realize how cold the overnight temperatures would be so I never switched the thermostat over to heat.
I went to bed, snuggled under my covers and thought about how chilly my room was.
Did I get up, come downstairs to put on the heat...nope.
But, I am washing my sheets today and changing my bedding over to my warm blanket and my heavier weight comforter.
Yes, I switched the thermostat over to heat but it hasn't clicked on yet.
Looks like today will be warm enough without needing the heat on but I'm sure I'll be happy tonight when I'm all snuggled in bed and warm and toasty.
Tonights dinner is easy....just heat and eat. We're having butternut squash ravioli which we got in Sams Club. We've had them before and they are soooo good. Unfortunately they are seasonal so we have to enjoy them while they are available.
Other than that, nothing much is going on.

It is going well. I was just on Amazon, and noticed a few things I regularly buy on sale for Prime Day so win, win. I also want to check a couple of other things before it ends at Midnight.

I want to go back and look again too before the Prime Days end. Hopefully I can find some things at a discount price. Otherwise I''ll have to wait as we get closer to Black friday, etc

My local news was even saying how hot it is there. Hope you get a reprieve soon. Meanwhile we're heading into our months of cold weather.

Well, early morning was crazy (you read my posts so you’ll read about why), but the day dawned nice and sunny. The high today is actually 87 degrees, which is a little too hot for me, but it’s better than 100 F of a few weeks ago.

I'm so far behind here this morning. I don't know why I keep getting distracted and walking away from the computer for awhile.
I agree that 87 is still too hot but certainly much better than those 100 degrees you had. Our high today will only be in the 60s.

I am looking forward to cool temperatures more consistently.
We have the up and down thing happening here.
We turned our thermostat to heat, but haven't turned it on as of yet.
My day is going well, I just found something out.
There is a vendor from back where we used to live that comes to the Saturday market and we get our apples from her, but the building was closed over a month ago due to safety concerns. But the outdoors is fine, and she is setting up outside in the parking lot. So we will be able to get our fresh apples this weekend.

I'm sorry it got so chilly you needed to turn your heat on. I hope you won't have trouble with it. I have the heating people coming tomorrow to find out why my furnace isn't working. I hope it's an easy fix.
I have my heater on to take the chill out of the air. It's supposed to warm up today. Then I will turn off the heater and open the patio door.

i'm also having pasta for my meal today. i feel you. it got colder here too but i don't want to start up my heater so i'm covered in blankets but i can't do that forever.
