What’s going to be your first holiday event this season?

Some of you celebrate Halloween, so will it be a Halloween party? Canada has Thanksgiving coming up, and the U.S. has theirs in November. Maybe the first get together for this winter season won’t be until Christmas? No Christmas? Maybe the New Year?
My first holiday event of the winter season will be Thanksgiving in November. I always enjoy that, and this year I’m trying a new recipe to bring as a side dish.
*Picture is of the chihuahua ornament my best friend got me, and I’m holding it next to Sadie.

@AmbiePam I guess so! LOL I was trying to be funny lol.
I'm hoping since the kids are older now, they will kind of go do their own thing. I don't really wanna go do the trick or treating thing anymore.

@thislittlepennyearns I’m not following humor lately. I think it’s my old age.

Just now
I am not sure what I am doing for any holiday. My daughter and her family will be here for Thanksgiving. I may be at the Veteran's Home for Trunk or Treat. We will have to see.

Such an adorable photo.
Our Thanksgiving is actually on Monday. We will celebrate on Sunday of the weekend, but enjoy leftovers on Monday and for a few days after that I am sure.
After that we don't celebrate again until Christmas, but the birthday celebration in late January for the twins, is the most fun of all of the holidays put together. There is just something special about our littles being the 'stars' of the party.

@AmbiePam I agree, and to think that for several years our son and dil told us that they were not having any kids......it blows my mind. Yesterday Willow coloured a picture of a princess for me. She wrote her name on it all by herself, but she wrote it from right to left. but it is a start....

That's a cute photo! Family get together wise will probably be thanksgiving here. No parties on Halloween but we do take Eli trick or treating, though this may be the last year, he may think he's getting too old for it lol

@MommyOfEli2013 When I lived with my parents, we had some teenage neighbors who simply wanted candy, so shamelessly they’d go door to door with their old candy pails, no costumes, appealing for leftover candy. I’d roll my eyes, but I was too much of a softie to say no. I mean, who doesn’t want a little candy? lol

@AmbiePam not yet really other than not seeming to want to pick out a costume

Sadie is such a cutie. What even? Halloween: I will watch movies that scare me, Christmas I will drum my fingers on the table, shed a few tears, and spend it with Scrooge and the Grinch and the blubber on New Year's Eve as the big ball in NYC comes down through YouTube, those are my events,

Beautiful photo.
I may decorate the house for Halloween, I’m usually at the caravan then so I don’t get to do it.
Then for us in the UK it will be Christmas ….i love Christmas and really love our decorations. It’s a great family time for me x

I am not really a holiday person. They are something to be endured.
