Yesterday was a movie day

I need to tell you, I generally am not one to sit and watch television and/or movies. Bob had declined to go to the dining area because he KNEW I was coming. I had complications that made me late, so they put Forrest Gump on for him to watch and gave him a tray at a portable table. So I watched part of Forrest Gump with him. It basically continued to be a movie day. We watched a movie I had never heard of called "A Dog's Purpose". . . real tear jerker about a dog that kept dying and getting reincarnated. Dog mostly narrates the movie. I watched all of that. Followed by "A Dog's Journey" with the same dog being reincarnated, and all the dog antics. Large variety of large and small species. So, are you familiar with these movies? They are good, if you are an animal lover.

Yes I have seen all those movies you mentioned and I loved them. I couldn't count how many times I watched Forrest Gump. Did you know there's a real Bubba Gump Shrimp Restaurant? It was built in 1994, inspired but that movie. It was founded in Monterey, California. And there's even one branch here in the Philippines. That's how popular Forrest Gump is.

I have watched Forest Gump, it was okay. The movies about the dogs sound very interesting. I am hoping to be able to stream them some time soon.

I have only seen Forest Gump, not the dog movies. I probably would have been bawling my eyes out!

I think the dog movies would be too emotional for me. I have seen Forrest Gump more than once..a classic. How is Bob doing these days?

I like Forest Gump, it's really good but this is the first I've heard of A Dog's Journey, I'll have to check Prime about it.

I've never watched Forrest Gump but I've seen the other two while I was in the hospital. I'm glad you got to spend time with Bob. I hope he was happy.

I've seen A Dog's Purpose and enjoyed it. I haven't seen the sequel. We've also see Forrest Gump. My Mum didn't have dementia but she'd start imagining the worst if we were ever late.

Haven't watched any of these movies, but it does sound interesting, and I believe it might hold a deeper message than just a simple dog reincarnated and so on.

I've seen A Dog's Purpose and yeah it got me crying too. Sounds like a sweet day with Bob, even if you don't usually watch movies. Sometimes just sitting there with someone is the best part.
