Yes, those are wasps and that blob is their hive and that hive is in my virginia creeper vine outside my bedroom window. I know they'd gang up on me and sting the bageezas outta me if I mess with their hive but there has to be a way to safely move them to a better(for me) location. Is there anyone out there that can give me any advice on how to relocate them without killing them? There aren't enough bees anymore to pollinate plants so wasps are the next best thing ..... in case you're wondering, butterflies are rare here as it's way too arid and hot for them Thanks in advance https://youtube.com/shorts/tcgOJ7iOkzc?si=pE6uncHR3hqSTW0i EDIT I've tried my best but the link to this video just won't work the way I wanted, sorry about that

You’re so much braver than I! I know you know this, but the untapped mom in me is prompting me to say, be careful, please!

Have no fear, I won't mess with them until it's really icy cold but we don't always get icy cold here.

I do not know for sure. I would say you need to find something that either smells bad to them or looks scary to them and then they will move themselves. I do not know what their natural predators are that might scare them.

To relocate the wasp nest, you need to do it at night when the wasps are dormant. Use a container to cover the nest, slide a piece of cardboard under it, and then carefully transport it to a new location far from your home.

I asked ChatGPT but he needs more information - what type of wasp and what's the nest like. Regardless, he says you need an expert and that the nest would be hard to move. He doesn't recommend you doing it yourself!

Try calling a local beekeeper or pest control service, some of them will relocate wasps instead of killing them. Don't try to move the hive yourself since they get real aggressive when disturbed. Maybe wait for cooler weather too, they are way less active and easier to handle then.
