First, I want to say thank you to everybody who has offered prayers and well wishes for me because of my broken hand bones. I’m doing quite well. Today, I did laundry, and I vacuumed the floor. Yesterday, I did my grocery shopping.
I have discovered the reason for the fall I took on Monday, and I want to offer this as a public service announcement. Whatever you do, check the treads on the soles of your shoes. After the fact, I turned mine over and saw that they were worn out. That caused me to not have a lot of traction, which caused the fall. (Or, that’s my story and I’m sticking with it! 
)
Another thing regarding my lot: as you can, imagine, it is difficult to type. Plus, the chat dictation isn’t all that good. (Or maybe it doesn’t understand southern accents. 
) Therefore, it appears that the obituaries lists that I do every month for musicians who passed away will have to wait. I will see what I can do, because I know you want to hear about Ronnie Dove. Once I can type again, I will catch up.

It’s my fault for buying quality shoes. It used to be that the tops of my shoes wore out so fast that the bottoms didn’t have time to!

Your story sounded valid to me. Those are some well used shoes. Get you some new shoes. I think it's time. Take care and hopes for a speedy recovery.

Darn all my rotten luck, I can’t pick my weights up. truth be told, I can’t do much with my hands since it’s splinted. I do make sure to do range of motion exercises with my shoulders, to make sure that the right shoulder doesn’t get stiff.

How did I not know you broke your hands. I hope you heal quickly maam.
I am horrible about wearing my shoes all the way through. Kids get new shoes whenever they want them, but I put mine off forever.
I bet you could do voice to text for posts here. We will miss you!

Shoes get comfortable and we forget to check the treads. I have a pair of black Skechers I need to replace soon. They look pretty bald on the bottom, but they feel so good on my feet!
