Thoughtful of him

There is an aid that helps with Bob often. He is young, but has worked in nursing homes starting in high school.
Today he asked if I liked the drive there. I told him not particularly, but it is the alternative I have right now. He then cautioned me to look out for deer from now until spring. He has totaled two cars with the help of deer. I assured him, I am careful.
I drove carefully home. Stopping at two different Walmart stores looking for my size in some pants I liked at a third store. Success. I got what I wanted.
Then I came home and cooked a quick meal while bringing in my houseplants. A day later than I should have. We had a hard frost last night. Not too much damage, though.
To be honest, I think I am more in danger from traffic snarls caused by road construction.
My belly is full. My plants are in. It is time to remove tags, because of course I bought more than one pair of pants.

It means so much when people care. Whether we know them or not, to know they care enough to try to help is such a warm and fuzzy feeling!

I guess if you've totalled two cars, it might be all you can think about for a while.

I have never even seen deer where I live although I have been told we have mule deer in the mountains.
