The custodians are still stealing my snacks

I am not impressed. I always have quick-fix things like Velveeta mac and cheese cups, soup, protein bars, pretzels, etc. for days when I just don't have anything from here to bring for lunch or when a student is hungry. (I don't say yes to all of them) When I moved my stuff into this new classroom and prep room I brought a whole bunch of food, my Keurig, a tea kettle, etc. so I would always have something on hand. My favorite students have gotten a little out of control with helping themselves but I always ask them what they took. Yeah the custodian(s) are making coffee, eating protein bars, having ramen noodles and diced peaches, etc. Like bro I don't care if you take 1 thing 1 time because you are hangry. But this is becoming a daily thing. I already complained to the head secretary who passed it on to the head custodian. I'm going to have to start hiding my stash in a locked cabinet.

Yeah, you are. Because apparently pathetic adults have no problem with being thieves.

There are thieves in all walks of life. Temptation is a powerful force that is hard to resist.

Maybe you can put something gross in there so they get a nasty surprise.

I'd put a mouse trap in the way of where you keep the necessities, and then a little note with 'caught ya' on it. But that is just me. It might be an effective way of getting your point across, it beats putting a small jar with cash in it as that will walk pretty quickly.

Honestly I get why you're annoyed. One snack when someone's hangry is fine, but daily is just taking advantage. Locking the cabinet sounds like a fair move to me.

That's so inconsiderate and just plain rude. I'd be locking stuff away too. What are they thinking? That's it's okay to do this regularly?
