I do up a little bag for each of the twins for Halloween.
I like to put several full sized chocolate bars and a box of smarties in the bag. This year I put in some different things too. I added a package of cool ranch crispers, a package of markers, and lots and lots of stickers.
If the markers are not washable, they are donated, so I have to be sure that they are.
If the stickers are not removeable, or have foam or plastic in them, they are also donated, and finding the flat paper ones is a challenge, but I found plenty of them.
I am steering away from the sweets this year, they get enough of that from the houses in the neighbourhood that they will visit.
~Photo is mine of the twins last year.

@snowy22315 Yes, I will and post it over the course of the next few days.
I am sad to see October end.
Typically November can be so overcast here, not that this year has been typical, but I start using my happy lamp during that month.

Thanks, this year Willow, the pumpkin, is going to be a ghost, and little Harper will be a princess.
Harper loves to wear dresses, she is so tiny that pants often do not fit properly and fall down too easily.
With doing so much walking in a costume, she will always have a dress I imagine, unless her metabolism suddenly slows down and she grows an actual butt.

@LadyDuck They are on the phone facetiming with us now.
Willow is begging us to come over this afternoon to play, but I reminded her that on the 2 days off from school she should spend as much time as she can with Mom and Dad as she misses them so much when she is at school, but I think she is just passed that now.

Thank you.
This year Harper, the witch will be a princess and Willow, the pumpkin is going as a ghost.
Harper being so tiny prefers to wear a dress with leggings because pants often fall down. I did not like the choice of princess costume that they got for her, but it is not my choice.
Jonathon just left, and he told me that they are both super excited and already asking when they can go out dressed up. I thought that they would be so excited that I prepared their bags and sent them with him when he came, I fear that if they drive them over here, the girls may fall asleep in their carseats, Harper does that so easily, and then they will not have a good night's sleep.

@MarieCoyle That's how I feel also.
Enjoy seeing the little ones tonight as they come to your door for treats.

Yes, they are. Our children and grandchildren are our legacy. I treasure each one, they are all special and all different. I feel so blessed to have them in my life.

I hope they both have a lot of fun and get a real sugar rush.

They won't be allowed to eat any candy tonight.
Their parents always go through it carefully when they get back home, and the girls are in bed by then.
They did consume alot of the chocolate that we gave them.
Funny thing, they preferred the new markers and stickers that we gave to them over the chocolate bars.

I'm sure the girls are excited about trick or treating. I love all the goodies you put in their little bags.

Thank you.
Colder weather is coming, and I wanted them to have something that wouldn't give them cavities and they could use when they do their crafts.
I put lots of large sized chocolate bars in the bags so that they could share and give their parents some-they are just big kids themselves.

There are not alot of really small children their age in their neighbourhood.
There are a couple of babies we see them in their strollers while their parents push them around the block and lots of teenagers. Hopefully there will be lots of neighbours waiting with their porch lights on, although they will go out before it actually gets dark, so that they can be home to hand out treats.
