The continuation of the ber months. I don't like them at all usually. So far they haven't been bad this year. The uary (wary) months are even worse and we are getting closer to them.
It's another cooler day. But doesn't feel as chilly as yesterday did. So I will get my Halloween decorations in and put away today. That won't take a lot of time. So I might even get the turkeys outside for this month.
I will be in my No Football Room this afternoon. Hope you have a good day.

@MarieCoyle Here the trees are beginning to drop their leaves as it is just so dry, we haven't had any rain since October 12th.

Well according to folklore and the woolly bear caterpillar in my drive yesterday it will be an overall mild winter.

It has been just fine here with being windy and in the 70s. I have no complaints, Now I start trying to my body adjusting to the new time,

Here in Florida we are starting off our third ber month with heavy rain. At least it held off until after Halloween, so I can't complain too much. Plus, we're still technically in drought conditions here in Florida, so we'll take all the rain we can get.

This time change almost made me forget what day it was. It is definitely your Not Football Room Day, and on behalf of those who strongly dislike USC, I offer my condolences to your husband for Ohio State’s loss yesterday. I know you don’t care, but the anti-USC people did.

It's been a long day in here. I don't mind at all. Hubby said Ohio State played terrible.

Yes, the ber months have gotten off to a slow start for sure. It still feels like late September now in November.. September felt like August etc.

I might sound despondent.
Yet somehow a lot of things this year have turned up below expectations or as struggles this year.
Some people could go for astrological or numerological considerations for this, but I normally disagree.
Anyways that is life.
Perhaps if you plan for going out some distance in the coming days, you would feel better.
We had unexpected rains here that made the day time max dip to around 20 to 22 C, from 30 to 32 C.
It caused sudden change & made us take out our warm clothes.
The plus is that pollution dipped.

It's been very overcast/cloudy here today. Rain was forecasted, but it never showed up. I wish it would, to settle the everlasting dust. Hope you are having a good peaceful afternoon in your No Football Room today.
