Today Is Just Another Day Flying By

Happy Tuesday Everyone! wow we're having another nice day here today with sunshine and decent temperatures hovering around 70 F. Now if we could only bottle these nice days and save them for a miserably cold snowy winter day.
Yesterday was busy. My son and grandson came by mid-afternoon and replaced the toilet. It's nice to have a new one and fingers crossed it doesn't give as much trouble as the other one. The only thing I need now is a new toilet seat as this one has a flimsy plastic one.
Today is another busy day, I'll be heading out to vote when my daughter takes her lunch break and fingers crossed we can get in and out without much of a hassle.
Hopefully this afternoon I can finish my book. I only have about 50 pages left but for some reason it's taken me longer to read this book due to distractions. I'm way behind on my goal for this year but the goal I make is just for kicks. Some years I surpass my goal but this year I'm way behind.
Tonights dinner is easy peasy....baked chicken with sweet potatoes and broccoli.
It's also girls night so my older daughter will here with dessert!! I can't wait to see what she brings

It sounds like a good plan for the day! I’m glad you can go vote with your daughter. I’m always glad to see how busy the polls are, but definitely not when it’s time to go do the deed. Hopefully, enough people will have voted early, and you won’t have a line.
I went to do laundry at my dad’s, and he happened to be home. That’s always a nice treat.

I think we hit the polls at just the right time. Im sure they will be busy later on when people are coming home from work.
How nice that your dad was home and you got in a visit while doing the laundry

I got out and voted. Then we had lunch. I have a 2 pm Virtual Visit with my therapist.
This has been the LONGEST darn Summer. It's still warmer than it should be in November. I want FALL!

the toilet swap with your son and grandson sounds like a good time, and a flimsy plastic seat is the worst so good call on getting a new one... hope the voting line moves quick for you. ima need to hear what dessert your daughter brings tho, tbf that's the best part of girls night.
