Tired Of The Cold

Already. It's back to being chilly again today. At least the sun is trying to shine a little bit. Duke doberman laid down on his blankets after he ate this morning. He was beside the heater but hubby hasn't turned it on yet. So Duke doberman moved to thicker blankets.
I got the bookcase ready to move last night. Tonight I will clear off the chest of drawers and maybe get it moved. Nothing else planned for the day. Just walking inside.

Yes, it was cooler here today, too--just 40's. Our forecasters say tonight will be 27-28 degrees, so a hard freeze tonight. But it's way late for us--we have had a few nights that hit 31-32 degrees, but nothing seemed to freeze badly. Usually by this time, we've often had a tiny bit of snow. But not this year, heck...we can't even seem to get any rain to speak of.
Turn on the heater for old Duke...his old bones need that.

We did make it to 51 for about an hour. We have seen white crap by this time of year before too. So far just a couple of frosts.

I hope Duke and everybody else stays warm there. We might be done with the rain, the sun is out..it is supposed to be around 70 today...I will take it. It won't be as warm this weekend though.

It's a rainy day here and only in the mid 60s. So far we don't need the heat today and the longer I can keep it off the happier I am.
Duke has the right idea of cuddling up on his blankets.
