Friends, help me please. My external hard drive isn't working, when i plug it, no hard drive was detected in my computer. Then it will hang for ages. When I unplug it, everything goes back to normal. I have a hunch that it's affected by virus. I don't know what to do. Help me please. Thanks in advance.

I let my friend borrowed money from me, but that was intended for my brother's check-up. That's a sad fact, I can't weigh things in.

Hello. Thanks a lot for the response, it means a lot because I'm really having a hard time. I've already tried it but still, my computer didn't detect my HD. I don't know If I could still recover my movie files from my HD... The worse part is that I've only barrowed that HD to a friend. I'm gonna get killed! Help me guys.

The first time I plugged my HD, there's an auto play option. But it didn't successfully open. It just stopped. I've opened my HD to other computers. It's not working still. Thank you for your advise. I am so depressed, I don't know what's the remedy for that, since, I'm not really into technical stuffs.

Really? Wow, thanks for the info... I'm currently using ESET NOD32 Antivirus but it seems like it's not working properly. What's your opinion about that?I'm going to try your advise. Thanks.
