What meat do you eat most?

I would say we eat chicken more than anything else followed by pork, then turkey. I hardly ever use beef or fish. I occasionally will use beef in a stir-fry, but not very often. I do not like fish. The closest this house comes to eating fish is the fish sticks I make for Jeremy about once every month or two. I think fish sticks barely count as fish since they are mostly breading.

Around here ground beef if fairly cheap, but if you want steak or a roast it is about $3 a pound for the cheapest cut when it is not on sale. Pork is about $1.29 per pound and chicken thighs are .99 per pound. So, there is quite a difference in price. I do buy in every now and again though.

That seems to be a pretty common answer. Everyone seems to eat most of the common meats.

We eat a lot of chicken. My husband does not care for beef, except hamburgers, but love chicken and it can be fixed a lot of different ways for variety. We eat a lot of fish, too, not fish sticks but the real thing. We have been eating a lot of tilapia lately. We eat some pork, a lot of breaded tenderloins and pulled pork BBQ.

I like to eat beef, but I hate to cook it. I like my meat well done and a well done steak just gets dried out.

I think we mostly eat beef and chicken. Basically because they're the cheapest, and we're trying to save right now.

I think the thing I eat the most is def. spagetti lol. Whenever my mom isn't cooking and I don't know what else to eat I always make myself a plate of spagetti. I don't eat sauce with my spagetti. The only thing I put on my spagetti is butter and salt. That's the only way to go for me! lol.

OH my gosh! I'm embarrassed now X.X I missed the word 'meat' in your discussion title! LOL I'm sorry! =P I'll respond again, correctly. lol. I really love that Roast Beef that you buy in that plastic container thing from the store. That's really good (if you know what I'm talking about). I also LOVE Slim Jims! lol. They are the best, most unhealthy meat EVER! lol.

Not very many people seem to be eating very much beef. Beef cost more than any of the other meats here.

I try to keep a balance of beef, chicken, pork and fish through the week so no one gets bored with the meals and so I don't get tired of cooking the same stuff.

I probably eat chicken more than any other meat. After that is beef, then seafood (fish & shellfish). Then pork, lamb and other meats.

I have not seen lamb around here. I only get to eat lamb when I go to the city and get a gyro. I love lamb though.

We have a lot of venison here. I just never cook it. I am going to have to start though. It is going to go bad otherwise.

Right now, I can say chicken, try to avoid too much pork, since pork is not good for our health. I make sure as well to eat more and more vegetables. I guess when are really getting older we are getting concious with what we eat.LoL

Most of our daily dishes are vegetables. We usually take meat every other day or thrice a week. We take fish, chicken and pork. We mostly take steamed fish with ginger slices, a little tamarind paste and garlic added to it. All these dishes are to be taken together with rice in normal meal. We usually take chicken and pork when having our lunch outside. Occasionally we do take some western food like chicken chop or pork chop.

I love pork. But lately I have cut-down and reserved myself in eating fish.. Beef from time to time is ok..I don't cook at all. I just have it somewhere. My company is supplying chicken, and we have our daily lunch serve with chicken cook in a variety of ways.No choice but to eat it because restaurants and canteens are very far away from my workplacs...it's a free lunch and I like i said No choice but to have it EVERYDAY...thats why it sucks sometimes. heheh!

Well one thing I didn't see any one adding was game meat. We eat a lot of Elk and Deer meat at our house. We make them into fingersteak, butterfly steaks, roasts, ground meat, and jerky. But we still eat beef, chicken and pork. No one seems to care for fish, even if we all like fishing. In a household with 2 deer and one elk in the freezer, we mainly eat the game meat, and add other meats for variety. Growing up, beef was a treat and chicken was only for frying. And pork was a rarity.

I'm like you first chicken then pork. I love pork so much I could eat it everyday. I'm not a huge fan of fish and we do eat beef often also.
