Stress Anyone?

I know that when somebody says "I know what you're going through." the most common thought is, "no you don't." So, I'll just say I've been in a similar situation. I lost three family members in two months all to different causes. Then two months later I lost four more family members and some high school classmates. It's a very stressful time, and I am sory you have to go through these things. I do hope your brother-in-law can pull out of this and I hope that the stress you are under doesn't make you implode. I actually imploded last week. Sometimes, it's better to implode, now I have no stress for the next three days. I'm going to try to enjoy it because my 18th birthday is on Thursday. Please don't let this get to you, I'd take some of your stress if I thought I could handle it. Keep the holiday spirit in mind! Happy holidays!

I can't imagine the stress you and Deb are faced with but I just have to say that because I'm a huge believer that everything happens for a reason, it may be a blessing that the surgery is cancelled rather than put Deb through that and to find it wasn't meant to work. It is however obviously very sad that this man has to be in such poor condition. Anytime is bad but I think this time of year is even worse. Please take care.

Sorry I cant take on any of your stress Bob. Though I know you have had a great deal lately. I have had enough stress myself, dealing with the trauma my step children caused over the past few months, hubby wanting them back for even more time, seeing lawyers, paying for lawyers, getting phone calls from child support agency,... & on top of all that, hubby wants m,e to be nice to my step children.

I'm sorry that your having a hard time now. Its so hard to watch other people go through hard times. Sorry can't take anymore stress at this time.

I am very happy with the stress level I have right now. But if thinking of someone or being their friend counts you have my undivided attention and thoughts as you travel down this long road.

stress you ask? I am a single mom of a 13 year old. I do not get any child support. I work full time each and every weekend 2nd shift and long hours when she should be in the care of her dad but most times I am at work, worrying about her whereabouts. My mother is dying and needs 24/7 care. I am at her house daily prior to going to work. I share shifts with other family members. I am soley responsible to see that lights get paid, along with rent and other bills. Stressed??? ya , you could say. Gramps, I have been following your posts. I t hink our lives are much the same. Thankfully I have my brothers helping out but they fight terribly and it is oh so stressfull. Oh and did I mention that I have 3 grown girls that I try to find time for plus 2 grandchildren? Oh and plus a boyfriend who i see when I can which is rare. Heck just finding time for a shower is a strategic move!

No I will pass on that one. I have plenty of stress in my life and it will last me my whole life. We all have stress in our lives. Some more then others. And to look at some people you would never know it. They hide it well. Its how we cope with it that matters. So you can keep your own stress. But gee thanks for offering!LOL

I've got enough at the moment bud. I do hope yours eases up a bit, I hate stressful time but I think decemember is one of the worst in the year for stress. lovely christmas shoppers bring so much joy to our world. ~joey

Sorry to hear the loss of your friends recently, Grandpa Bob. I do not, however, survive well on alot of stress as you recall in other discussions what resulted in being overstressed. I may not be able to relieve you of some of your stress but I can/will pray that at least some of your stress is relieved and soon.

Believe me I know what Stress is all about and have had my share over the years. It seems since my father passed away in August it has been one thing after the other. Though I have always seemed to be dealing with more than one thing at a time, I have came to the conclusion it was God's way of not letting me dwell on anyone thing at a moment. I do know one thing for sure, if it was for His help through it all, I wouldn't have gotten through these things and me the strong person that I have become today.
