Its snowing

Snow is beautiful as long as it snows only on the grass and trees...lol We are suppose to get snow late Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Only suppose to be 1 inch here and I can live with that. I do have dinner plans Thursday night but will go unless the forecast is wrong and we get 6 inches. If it's deep and slick, I stay home. The older I get, the less I want to drive on snow. I do have a 4 wheel drive suv now whereas last year at this time I had a Camaro. The Camaro couldn't even get out of the driveway without getting stuck.

Right now the sun is shinning and the frost from the fog last night is falling off the trees so it looks like it is snowing but its not. It is supppose to snow tommorow though and only get up in the 20's for the high going to be a chilly one.

It snowed a little today, not a whole lot but I did shovel it. The roads were clear so I didn't have to worry while driving, but I hate snow too.

Right now it is sunny and cold outside. But we are expecting a winter storm tonight into tomorrow morning and through the day tomorrow. They said it could be snow, sleet, and/or freezing rain. People where I live go all crazy when it snows LOL so I'm sure school will probably be called off tomorrow. I'll let you know if we really get hit with it or not.

Hi Terry, We had 'a ton' of snow over the holidays, then it all melted completely, and it rained. Today, we woke up to snow again, but not a huge amount. There's a 'damp cold' in the air, but we don't have the freezing, below zero weather, we had over the holidays. I'm sure it'll return though.:( I don't love the snow anymore, as it's too hard to get around in, however, I know this freezing, and thawing, isn't the norm, so don't think it's a good thing in general.

It was snowing earlier this afternoon, but it has stopped now.. But it's 27 degrees, so it is cold enough for it... Are you expecting any accumulation?

Why are you getting all the Snow and all I get is the rain that is just so not fair as I love Snow even though it is cold I love it So how about we swop you have my Rain and I will have your Snow which has probably melted by now lol Hugs

We are supposed to get a few inches of snow Thursday afternoon and evening. Then the frigid below zero temps are due as well from Friday until Monday. Talking well below zero at night with single digit temps during the days. Also windchills nearing 30 below zero as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

This is pretty coincidental.. I just came across this discussion, and infact it really is snowing here, but your discussion is 4 days old! lol. and it literally JUST started to snow here too. Well more like a heavy flurry. I dont mind a little snow i guess, i DO live in canada after all, but i dont like a lot of snow cause then i can't push my stroller and i'm stuck inside for the most part. . Someone around here must feed birds, cause i can hear some outside chirping away.. They must be cold.

Its very cold here in Virginia but it has not snowed yet. It did in DC where my husband works for a little bit. My son wants some snow so he will be happy if and when it does arrive.

Hi Terry... No snow for us today. We are having a pretty good day. Sunny and 35 degrees, but it only goes down hill from here.hehe We are going to have a very cold weekend. A high of around 10. brrrrr

Hello dear TerryZ. We started to have snow three days ago and it was still snowing this morning. I love the snow as it had been a couple of years that we had not had snow until January 14th, this year. Lots of students were so excited to see the first snowfall in 2008 as to play in the snow having a snow fight for fun. Here I have uploaded a photo of the snow on our campus for you and other mylotters to share. Please enjoy. Hi Terry,.....I'm down the basement and there are all glass block windows here. I hate it. I have no idea at all if it's snowing or not, and won't know until I go upstairs, boohoo. I'm guessing it's snowing though because they called for it. Like you, I hate driving in the snow...that's when I wish I didn't have to go to work, so scary. I only like it on days like this when I don't have to leave the house, haha. I've been playing on the computer all day here on myLot trying to catch up with people and make some money, haha......well, a little bit of money anyway.

It was up to 65 and sunny here today, but now it is pretty windy and cold. We are supposed to get snow starting tomorrow afternoon, and it may continue until Saturday. I don't mind. It won't be enough to bother me. I have two doctor appointments tomorrow, but they are both in the morning, so I won't be stuck anywhere if the snow comes in heavy.

No snow here in the tropics of Australia, lol! I would love to see the snow again, it brings back happy childhood memories, so I do envy you somewhat.

I'm like you, terry- I am not fan of snow! It was flurrying earlier but luckily it didn't stick. My kids are itching for a snowstorm but we could go all winter without one and I'd be happy! I can't wait for spring....

The weather conditions here are a repeat of 2005. Flooding with freezing temps and more flooding on top of the ice. Sure glad I live on higher ground but some ppl here have had to evacuate and don't know when they will be able to move back home. We got a few inches of snow in the last few days with a promise of more to come. I love the snow but hate the ice, specially when I have to drive in it.

Nope! No snow here and I couldn't be happier about it. I hate snow. I hate cold. I hate winter altogether. It is 36 and sunny right now. We are supposed to get some rain and maybe some snow tomorrow night. I hope not.
