This morning I was looking at my hubbys hair and thinking wow your hair grows so fast. I wish mine grew that fast.LOL I made an appoitment for him to get it cut. He will only go to this one place and have the same person cut it. So do you make appointments for your hubby or boyfriend to get their hair cut?Or do they do it on their own?

It's $11.95 for a haircut, plus each time you go, you get your card marked, so the 11th haircut I think it is - is free. You can use the card for everyone in the family! Plus there are coupons all the time in Valpak, and when you get a receipt there is a $2.00 off coupon that never expires!

Mine grows incredibly fast! I always keep mine short, otherwise it looks like I've been dragged through the hedge backwards each morning! I am not one of those people who can stand at the mirror for an hour gelling, combing, preparing the hair, I just want to wet it and that's it, if at all! So I have it real short, well you can tell by the avatar! I have a great local barbers which only costs £8 for a cut, they even trim your eyebrows and ear hairs too, all part of the price, you just turn up, no appointment needed, which reminds me I'm off out Saturday so I might get it done Friday want to look my best ;0)

Every fortnight Saturday Wolfie goes into town to have fun, and turns in to a very very naughty wolfie indeed (blushes!) so I have to look my best ;0)

Hubby has me make almost all the hair appointments. Where we go, it is a student that cuts the hair because it is part of a vocational school. They do a really good job and it's relatively cheap. We can't always get the same person, but the work is always well overseen by the same professor, so we have a lot of confidence in the girls there.

Well lately I have been cutting our hair. I'm not too bad at it either :) Hubby's hair is quite easy and I know exactly how he likes it. Mine is a bit more complicated because I am doing it to myself but then again, my hair is curly so even when it's not that perfect it still doesn't show it LOL Now before hubby used to go to this place that he liked, no appointment needed as long as it wasn't on a saturday.

I tend to just leave my exes to their own hairy business. I usually point it out to them. I am pretty strong willed and I get really stubborn when I do not get what I want so they most likely end up following what I say. It is really easy in my country to get your own haircut without having to call in for an appointment. In some salons here, it is more of a first come first serve basis. All you have to do is register in your name and address, for the private records of the salon parlor. It would be really weird if someone actually called in for an appointment. The people working in the salon would directly know that they are not from this country. I wish my hair grew out as fast the guys hair do. But that is alright. At least we ladies get to save a little money from not having our hairs cut out every so often. Although we still do have to spend a lot more for highlights, perming and other such stuff.

Oy! What a frustrating time I have when it comes to this subject. That sounds kind of silly to say, doesn't it? lol) Hubby and I have gone round and round about how to handle scheduling his hair appointments. I tried doing it myself for him in what I thought was a very logical manner. We can pretty much set the calendar by his hair and know he needs to go every 'x' number of weeks to get sheared. So here's me thinking logically. . . or so I thought. I told him we would make a standing appointment at the appropriate time interval, always making it on the same day of the week at the same time. This way, we could kill two birds. We knew he'd be guaranteed to get a cut before getting too shaggy, and we'd always know where and when he was to be there. Little did I know that my so-called 'logical' idea was less than logical. For some inexplicable reason, he could never manage to remember when his appointments were even though they didn't vary at all from time, day, or who would be grooming him. I didn't think I could make it much more simple for him to remember either. I gave up after about umpteen times of having to call the barber and apologize for him missing his appointment. . . again! I told him to be in charge of his own hair from that point on. Unfortunately that still doesn't work much better. He schedules it at completely random times and days of the week. He doesn't bother to write it down on the family calendar or even tell me when it is now. Blah! lol

My hubby goes on his own and he never requests a specific stylist. I told him he needs to go to my girl Sandy. She is the best! The last guy who cut his hair took 45 minutes and barely trimmed anything off. My hubby had to go get it recut 2 weeks later!

I am not married right now, nor am I dating. But, I grew up around men, since the age of fifteen and I can tell you this. There are some who have to be told and an appointment made for them and some who will insist on keeping their apearance up themselves. But, I have never met one who was willing to just let anybody cut their hair. They love tried and true and most will insist on it.

Hi, I do cut my hair most often near our parlor.Mostly I also opt for the same person who did my hair once with more perfection as to my satisfaction. Later when I am on away from there I would rarely do a hair cut. Still we get a satisfaction if it is done properly as per our needs. My hair is bit curly and I do like it be short cut. But when I was in my college I had a long hair and used to tie it from behind. Later I used effect cold when I grown long hair as my hair is bit thick. I hope it is the talent of hair stylist to give use a better hair cut.

Um, I have always dated and married long haired men. I have never ever set up an appointment to cut their hair. In fact the only other person beyond themselves that ever made that choice was the court. I like long hair on guys and don't be misled...not all of them or even most were forced to cut their hair.

My husband do it on his own. He works and lives abroad. So I can not make necessary appointment to a barber even I wanted to. And he has no particular barber which he frequented.

I used to send my fiance out but he always came home with a crooked hairline in the back. Once there was a large I don't know a divot..it was huge but he didn't notice. He tipped her $10 too. I asked him to go back and fix it to earn her underserved tip. He has since come to me for his haircuts. I have been giving haircuts on the side since I was 13. I also cut my 17 yr olds hair and my 3 yr olds hair too. My fiance requires his hair cut every two weeks cause he freaks out if it touches his ears..men are funny.

My husband makes his own appointments about once a month. He has hair but it grows slow. He loves to go early in the morning and take the dog with him. The dog sits in the car and watches. Am sure the dog is just overwhelmed with excitement..lol

Hi Terry, my husband only goes to one person and he usually just calls to see if she is in and goes in.. My daughter and I like this woman as a person, but not to cut our hair and my husband is clueless as to why.. She is scissor happy and cuts way too much off and doesn't even come close to what we want..

Morning TerryZ, I am happy to say that I do not make appointments for my other half .. LOL !! Because he actually shaves his head himself so the most that I'm required to do is a little touch up on the spot that he has missed. LOL!!So in a way I actually help with the hair cut.

I cut my husbands hair myself. I used to cut it with a pair of scissors but I got smart and for christmas I bought him a hair cutting set, you know, the ones that shave your head. My husband is almost bald, on top anyways, so we keep his hair cut very very short and now it is so much easier to do. His hair also grows very fast and we have to cut it about every three weeks or so. I wish my hair grew as fast as his also. I go to my sister to get my hair cut because she is a hairdresser and she doesn't charge me anything for doing it.

I used to cut my husband's hair myself, but now he gets it cut at the hair place in the local Walmart. I always make the appointment for him. I usually make all those kinds of appointments for him. My hubbys hair grows pretty fast also. Thankfully my hair does also. Two years ago I cut over 12 inches off of my hair to donate it to Locks of Love. My husband cut it(he did an awesome job) off up to my chin. Now it is two inches from reaching my waist.
