Ever felt you have been somewhere before?

Have you ever been to somewhere for the first time and felt you knew it very well? I have and it is quite an unusual feeling, knowing your way around somewhere very well without ever being there before

Well, I have an affinity for England and its countryside. And I can't get enough of reading about the late 30s and 40s. I probably lived out one or past lives in England and during the Holocaust as a young child or infant.

I have felt this very often. When I first ever drove through France, I recognised one road to the degree that I accurately described to my wife and kids what the next village looked like. I saw a blacksmith shop on the left and the only difference was that the blacksmith appeared as a garage. I should really have stopped to find out if it ever had been a blacksmith's, but I didn't bother.

Yes and these feelings can be quite strange, especially when something is happening at this place that I feel has happened before. Could it be something from a past life? I am open-minded about this and would be fascinated to find out where the link came from.

I believe that is called "deja vu" and I have experienced it on a few occasions.

I haven't ever felt like I really know my way around somewhere, but I have felt many times like I have already been to that place before though. It could have been in one of my dreams or something like that. I'm not sure but it is a very weird feeling indeed.

Yeah I have felt like I was someone before.. even though it was the first time being there. I don't know why.. But I did get this feeling before.. I also get the same feeling when meeting certain people etc.. it's very strange.. I think this is called Deja Vu.

Yes that happened to me a few times before. It felt strange and I remember trying to rationalize it when it happened. Maybe the layout of the place was like some other place I knew. Or maybe things were in logical places so they seemed familiar. But it has mostly happened in my dreams quite a lot. It always happens with a house and I know every single corner, but I have never been there. I assume that they are very different things though. Feeling of deja vu when awake doesn't necessarily have the same meaning of when dreaming.

When i visited one university here in the Phils i felt that. While i was walking i felt i have been there i remember the place because i thought i had seen it before but i don't remember when and i forget why i was there. And you know how many times i felt it.
