It's that time again. Pizza Friday at my house. We will buy a few.But hubby came home last night with fixings to make our own too. We have Pillsbury can crust, and box mix. Cheeses and pepperoni. The general fair. do you prefer making your crust? what would you put on your pizza? Sky is the limit.lol

I do not normally make my own pizza. I usually buy the frozen ones. I am lazy that way I guess. I do like making pizzas out of English muffins or tortillas sometimes though. My son really likes the tortilla ones. We usually go for cheese and sausage or cheese and pepperoni.

I love the thought of making my own pizza and have tried to do it several times. My crust never turns out right. After adding all of my toppings to it, the crust does not fully cook and it comes out doughy. I add sausage and paperoni and cheese to mine too. I think I should half cook the crust first and then add some toppings before cooking it the rest of the way, not sure.

when we make our own pizza we buy the pillbury crust too. but instead of the usuals we change it up. i'll mix mayo and some powder hidden valley ranch dressing mix together and spread that on as the sauce. then we'll top the pizza with mozzarella. then chopped carrots, broccolli and cauliflower. then some more cheese. its really good :)

I'm afraid I can't make a pizza by myself. I am a Chinese girl who loves pizza sometimes, but you know sometimes it will makes you not feel so good, even makes u sick because of the aura of the cheeses. but pizza is popular in China esp. among the youths.

I would prefer to make a pizza instead of just bake or order one. Then, making a pizza is something else that is shared with the family. However, I must add, a special family dinner night can include some type of food other than pizza, too. Something that the child can help to make. I think that would be a special family tradition.

When I make pizza at home, I do french bread pizzas. I buy pepperoni, black olives, green pepper, onion, mushrooms, 2 types of cheese.

I used to make all of our crusts. I would say that in the last year, I haven't. I buy the premade crusts. We prefer a roast beef pizza. Roast beef and cheese. A locally made ranch dressing is our sauce for the pizza. I buy it from a local pizzeria. I love pizza night. We have it once a month or so.

Yep- I prefer to make my own crust. I usually go for the usual when I make pizza- pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms. I like veggie pizzas, too, though and also just cheese and diced tomatoes- YUM! But, since I eat healthy food most of the time and pizza is one of my 'naughty choices' lol I usually go choose to go all out- lots of meat, cheese, thick crust, etc...

I usually make a Calzone once per week, which is folded, so doesn't really have a typical pizza crust. Ingredients are fairly standard, parma ham, buffalo mozzarella, mushrooms, pizza sauce, plus oregano and olive oil for seasoning.

Little individual pizzas with english muffins, sauce, BACON, ham, mushrooms and cheese. Great fun for kids, too.

We always make our own pizza's.It is fun to get the kids involved with the cooking and putting the pizza's togeather. It is also cheaper in most cases and you can be so creative with your own toppings. We always use lot's and lot's of cheese.Make your own pizza night is wonderful!Make the pizza's then eat and kick back with a good family movie.A great night to bring the family close.
