I have been with myLot for a year and I do have a good understanding of how things here are. There's just one thing that I thought of today.
Do we earn anything if we respond to a discussion where a best response have already been awarded?
I was going over some discussions from my interests, discussions my friends started and today's top discussions. I found a lot of interesting topics. I have responded to some of them and I am currently going over the other topics. I noticed that some of these discussions already have the best responses. Of course I still respond to these discussions. Now I am just curious...

I always just assumed that you did get paid for posting to each discussion. Whether it had the Best response chosen or not. Besides it is content of the discussion, that makes me want to respond. So for me I hope it is true, I have found many good discussion and posted a response that had Best response already picked.

Yes I believe that you do.I have responded to discussions that was marked with best response and my number wen't up and so did my earnings.Have a great evening

I see... Well, I guess I have to be more conscious about my earnings so I could see if there are any difference responding to resolved and unresolved discussions. Thanks!

I know that if I respond to a discussion that has a BR, that my points go up so I assume that you do earn for it.

A discussion is not closed on the instant of resolving best response, it is still open. You can participate in an open discussion and your participation is duly rewarded. Whether the best response is resolved or not is immaterial in the case of you being rewarded.

Yes, i think so... since we earn even when we respond to a discussion that is very old... i have responded to some that already has a best response chosen... and i think i still earned a cent or two... especially when my response was quite long... and we even earn when we comment to those that respond to our discussions...

Yes I think so because it's still part of participation. I have responded to discussions before with a marked best response. I am not 100 percent sure but that is my perception. How about contacting the admin? Will they reply to us. Have a wonderful day at mylot!

I think posting to discussions after a best response has been given, still earns, and the same as the others.. hope so! Or everyone might stop giving best responses I'd think..

From what I have learned from my stay here at myLot, yes. Yes, we earn from responding to resolved discussions. I mean, if you respond to a discussions where the best response have already been given, you still earn. I have experienced responding to resolved discussions and I do believe that I have earned from such participation.

That perhaps Crash can answer. By the way I havent heard from him for quite sometime. Where is he now. I dont know if we are earning on it. I dont take so much concern as to whether a topic was given a best response mark. If I like a topic, I comment on it.

that would also the big question in my mind if still we can earning by posting our comments to the discussions that best response was already denoted. we are not inform by the admin about this to all we have now is speculation. Hope we can still earn because i posted all discussions that caught my interest no matter best response is being denoted.

I always thought so unless Ihave been misinformed as thatshould have no bearing on our earnings should it.after allthere can be only one best response so all of us others should still be earning.I am sure this is true.

i do not know the answer to this but i would like to know as well. i do not think it would keep me from responding to a topic that i am interested in joining in on and i really do not even look for such things anyway.

Yes, you still earn $$ from a discussion even if the Best Response has already been chosen. From what I understand we earn from all of the discussions we respond too even if they are older, and even if they have chosen their Best Response. If you did not earn anything from them once this happens, they would have to close the discussion then to where no one could post to it again.

Yes I thnk we do as it would not be good business sense for the mylot officials not to. If they should adopt that principle then they would be defeating the very purpose of having this site as a discussion site.
Discussions do not end with best responses. That would be weird misconception i think. (lol)

Well i too had the same doubt in my mind and I just about stopped responding to discussions with the best response already selected , I have not not contacted the administrator aor anyone for that mater but it's just my instinct which led me to stop posting in discussions were the best response is already selected
