I bet Terry you are just anxious about your surgery. Gosh any medical procedure is enough to make a person talk even in sleep. But for him to move you really had to be rattling on LMAO... Poor fella. After my dental work, which was a real nightmare recently, yes I had some pretty vivid disturbing dreams that made me "act out" in my sleep. Odd, other than that I don't know if I mumble or talk, shesh my husband can sleep through a forth of july fireworks party.

I think your right my friend Ive been a nervous wreck all week. I hope your feeling better after your dental work. When did you have it done? That is so funny about your hubby sleeping through the fireworks. Mine usually does too but I think he is nervous about me. But he would never say he is.LOL

Terry, I just had my last appointment this past week. Its been on going now 2 months. I had 6 teeth pulled and 4 implants put in. You know the kind they screw into your bone then you attach your bridge work to it. It has been a nightmare and as traumatic as it gets for me. I still have just a bit of irritation but that is slowly going away, and man I can smile again! These teeth are prettier than my own ever thought about being! BTW thanks for asking LMAO

According to my husband I do not talk in my sleep. I don't snore either and am not real restless while sleeping. He, on the other hand, is almost impossible to sleep with in the same bed. He snores, grinds his teeth and sometimes talks. I always think it's because he's exceptionally bright and his mind never shuts down and I am just plain and simple. My mind is too old and doesn't need to be as active as his is during the day. Good luck tomorrow with your surgery, carolbee

Perhaps the weird dreams explains why you were talking in your sleep Terry! I don't talk in my sleep, but my hubby does, and sometimes it wakes me up. Most of the time it's just gibberish and I can't decipher what he's saying, but sometimes I can, and I can have a conversation with him! He remembers nothing of it in the morning!

My ex-roomie, now my helper, has often held entire conversations with me while I slept, which later I rarely remember. Then she's exasperated because I "promised" (in my SLEEP!) to do this or that, so of course, it hasn't been done! LOL! It's a good thing we're best friends! :o Maggiepie

LOL no I don't normally talk in my sleep although I have been known to walk specially when I was younger:) However hubby does. Entire conversations sometimes hehehehe and one can even join the conversation in a limited way LOL Sometimes I will talk to him, he will answer with something that makes half sense, but in the morning will have no idea ! None of the kids do and neither do I so we joke with him about it :):)

I have talked in my sleep. Apparently I also cried out in my sleep for quite some times after my car accident in '72.

As far as I know I do not talk in my sleep. I have never had anyone tell me that I have. My son will occasionally say a word or two in his sleep, but not much.

I am not with my husband right now, but I can tell you he always talks in his sleep. I can have a conversation with him while he is sleeping. I can ask him questions and usually he will answer me. Or he always talks about work, like he is talking to his employee and telling him what he wants him to do. I can make out every word he says, he is taht clear. According to him, I also talk in my sleep but he usually can't make out anything I say. I know when I am over tired I have woken myself up by my talking. I am a poor sleeper most nights so I can't afford to wake myself up with my chatting, but I have no control over it, just like everybody else.

ROTFLOL! I have to laugh because yes, I DO talk in my sleep. I know because I've even awakened myself doing it, I get so loud! And I don't just talk, I even SING in my sleep! I also have to have THE WEIRDEST dreams of all time. I'll put my dreams up against ANYONE'S to prove it, too! Hmmm. Y'know, now that I think about it, I believe I've actually walked in my sleep on rare occasion.... Not far, nor outside my house, but I do know I've suddenly become awake & aware while grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge, or sitting on the "throne" (thank goodness! LOL!). I have to have been really exhausted when that happens, however. Maggiepie

I don't know if I talk in my sleep, but my husband also slept on the couch last night..That is because I have been saying for years how the couch is great for my back and so he thought he would try it..Unfortunately, it didn't help his back..

those who sleep talk don't know when they do. so probably your husband was just right.
