Are you eager to wear and flaunt your new clothes as soon as you buy them????

This might be a girly girl thing cause i havent seen boys Do such things. Who as soon as they reach home from shopping, open their shopping bag and start wearing and trying their new clothes, matching it with shoes they want to wear it with etc. As for me, i just need to enter the door of my house and my new clothes are on my hand, i just rush in and start trying things out. Although i have become a mother now but this habit cant seem to get off me!! It gives me great joy to see myself in something new each time. After buying clothes for me, no on can make me store them for an occasion. So the best thing that i do now is, i buy clothes for a special occasion just a day or two before the actual happening evening. On the other han my husband can keep new clothes for as long a month and not even try it out. I always try to pursuade him to try and show me how it looks but i never get to see it other than the day he bought it for!:(

well flaunting is not only a girl thing, boys do it too! I sometimes want to show others what I have, but not to the point of bragging about it. Clothes are no different, especially if it is from a well-known brand.

I'm like you, if I buy new clothes I can't wait to wear them. As soon as I get home with them, I put them on. I don't know if it is just a woman thing or not, but I think we are all a lot like that.

As soon as I buy something, I have this washed. When it's washed and I really like it, I wear it at once. There are some clothes I have washed but not worn at once, depending on my mood
. However, since I became a mother, I do not usually buy clothes anymore. Instead, I buy stuff for my daughter more often.

hi sangs turk, my friend, i love to shop but i am not at all eager to wear my new clothes. yes, but i am very much eager to wear my new foot wear. i have a huge collection of it and i always wear them according to their match. i love higgh heels and pumps and i buy them quite often. so i can say that if i buy them , i will wear them . infact i will come wearing them from the shop itself. :-D
clothes i buy , but i keep them to wear it on a special occasion.

yes, I also did that as soon as I get in my house with the new clothes that I bought. I try all of it, matched it with shoes or accessories, esp. if it were also new. I don't know, perhaps, I was just too excited to know if it is really good on me and if the blouse or pants that I bought were perfectly matched with the shoes or sandals. The same with you, it gives me great joy and really feel excited to wear these new clothes as soon as I get it.

OH..Actually I don't wear the new clothes on the day I purchase them itself. I just buy them after I try it in the trial room. After that,I keep it for a special day and wear it on that day only. Till then, I will have it in my wardrobe. To be frank, I have 2 sets of new dress now . I have kept them aside for the parties that are coming in the next week. I can resist the temptation till then. But I have a sister who wears the new dress as soon as she comes home. She cannot resist. Also she will be wearing the new dress to the office in the next day itself. BUt I don't get any such temptation..I do not know why...

Not me. I am currently pregnant. I can't find anything I think is cute.I have this one maternity top. It makes me look like a plaid pilgrim. Tell you what, ask me again around VAlentines Day. I have the baby before Christmas, I may get down to a decent weight by then and show off some new duds.lol

I like to wear them right away!! Why save them? You didn't buy them to hang in a dark closet, you bought them to enjoy!

for me, some times I will do that,but generally, when I buy some clothes or shoses, because I need them , maybe my old one is broken, so I will have a change after I buy it.A no-money life,I'm a student now~~

I'm a guy. When I get new cloths I won't get really excited over it but I do try to pick cloths that are stylish. I will probably wear the new cloths over then next few days, but I won't try them all on at once when I get home from the store. I've come to think that if a guy even tries to look good and stylish, it will be appreciated.

Sometimes after buying new clothes,i don't try them on when arriving home. One time i bought one dress,and i kept it in the clothes closet for almost two years. Sounds a little stupid, but it is true.

Hi!I too love to wear my new clothes as soon as I get the oppurtunity.I have seen my sister's who even forget about te new clothes they had bought and it will be lying there in the cupboard.i just cant wait to wear to them.my son is also like me he wears his new clothes atonce but my husband will not use his new clothes like how i do.

Mercy me no SangsTurks, what with the size clothes I have to buy to fit me, no way am I anxious to try them on. :o) They do make some ugly clothes for us plus size girls.
But I loved reading about how excited and happy you were to try on your new clothes. It brought memories of how I used to be when I was in an ittsy bittsy size. lol
I love to see people who enjoy getting new things though.
I think probably most men are like your hubby though. I know when my hubby was living he wouldn't even shop for clothes for himself. I had to buy all his clothes or he would just wear the old ones until they turned to rags right on his body.

u r very true, even i do the same thing,i just cant help this habit of mine. as soon as i come from my shopping i just remove them out n start wearing them one by one and keep on asking my guy whether i look good in them or not. infact i soon as buy them in the store, i start imagining myself in that outfit,n i totally forget that i need to shop some more articles. i do not wait for any ocassion to come to buy any clothes, if i feel that i shuld buy something i just drop in some store. my guy always says that i spend more money on clothes rather than anything. n thats very true i guess!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know that it is so much a girl thing as it is a "clothes horse" thing. Anyone who enjoys clothes tends to want to wear new ones immediately to show them off and enjoy them.
On the other hand, people who don't love clothes but, rather, see them as practical items that are necessary for everyday life, don't feel the excitement that comes with purchasing new clothes.

You can even ask my husband about this. I have been know to buy something new like shoes or clothes and put it in the closet and wait a month or two before I even wear it. I have had this type of habit for some time now. I guess I just like to wait for the right time and occasion to wear something. Or I just don't want to mess them up just yet. It is kind of an idiosyncrasy of mine.
