[i]I am very happy (even if half of me is sad that I am far from my Parents and Sister) because it's my Mother and Sister's birthday this month...My mother will be celebrating her 55th birthday on 30th of August and my sister turns 30 yesterday, Aug 28(Philippine date). I am very happy and glad about it and wish and pray for them to have many many many more wonderful and great years ahead!

You are truly right, I agree. I feel the same. My family is the source of my strength and encouragement as I continue my journey in this foreign land where I am now. It is not a good feeling to be away from our loved ones but it gives us inspiration to be more productive and share the blessings that we have to them.

Adding a bit of interest, I am the same age as your mother, also this month. My daughter will be twenty nine this year and my son will be thirty two. I am like you, very proud of my family. They are nice people, and I am enjoying having my son visit today, doing some stuff around the house. I fixed him a lunch and we visited some, I have not had that opportunity in a long time. So if you sister is thirty, how old are you? Are you the older brother, or the younger brother in your family?

Hi its truly rewarding for other people that they have the timet to spend on the special day of their loved ones beside them. Its really hard that you are not with them everyday which leads to missing specially like birthdays. But somehow advance technology is really an advantage on this kind of problem. We can communicate even how far two people are. Just keep the communication open to let your loved one feel how you appreciate having them as your family.

Well, Happy Birthday to our sister and mother... it is so sad that you have to be at the other side of the world... and is not able to celebrate with them... well you can always see them throught the web cam... although that is not enough... but it will do for now...
Maybe next year you can go home and celebrate with them... that would surely be a blast...
