This is so cute... In the mock election at a school she votes McCain...why? The Democrats give a man a fish, The Republicans give a man a fishing rod! I got to say that's one smart little girl!!!

Missybal, A friend here at MyLot sent me this little joke that goes right along with this post. I thought I would share. I asked my friend's little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be President some day. Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, "If you were President, what would be the first thing you would do"? She replied, "I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people". "Wow . . . what a worthy goal". I told her, "You don't have to wait til you're President to that. You can come over to my house, mow my lawn and pull all the weeds, and I'll pay you $50. Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use towards food and a new house. " The little girl thought that over for a few seconds, while her Mom glared at me. Then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, "Why dosen't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?" I said, "Welcome to the Republican Party." Her folks still aren't talking to me . .

I get the religious meaning but don't agree with it at all. Barack will give you welfare but McCain will give you jobs? Not true.

I didn't think of it in the religious sense until you mentioned it here believe it, it's a saying everyone uses.

I didn't know there was a religious meaning. I thought it was just an inspirational saying.

Number 1. What religious meaning? Number 2. How is adding more taxes onto companies going to cause them to hire more people? His tax plan is more about revenge against those dirty rich people than That three letter word j.o.b.s.

The girl on the news was like seven or eight years old. I seriously doubt that she was a plant by the McCain Campaign.lol They were asking other student why they voted Obama in the Mock election. He repeated Obama's 95% tax cut thing. Kids are smarter than adults give them credit. I've heard some surprising things out of the mouth of a child that really showed how they would think as an adult. I'm sorry if the little girl wasn't creative enough for you.

I remember when I used to teach 4 Y.O.'s in Sunday School and I asked the class,"Why do we pray?" And this little three year old visitor named Shelby raised her hand and said,"Cuz GOD wants to hear from us." It was the best answer I have ever heard, before or since. I swear sometimes I think liberals are a lot like children, Except that children have more common sense.

I was impressed by how my granddaughter's school handled the elections. They could vote for Skittles and Pepsi or M&Ms and Coke. They taught them the basics of elections and voting instead of getting into who was running.
