So I have the llama song stuck in my head because i was trying to get "the internet is for p o r n" out of my head. The latter song was stuck there because a co-worker was playing it. PRior to that i had the hamster dance stuck in my head and another one we never did figure out what i was humming. THEN for months before that it was Prince Ali fabulous he ali a bauba. Do you ever get songs stuck? What gets stuck? How do you get rid of them?

I always get songs stuck in my head. Especially when I'm taking a test or something and I don't know the answer so I just start thinking of songs and they get stuck in my head. It's annoying, but its life. Lol

Most of the time the song gets stuck not because its good. But, because you listen it more frequently. Its the most weird situation in which you can be. You really hate a song to an extent that you would kill someone if he sings the song in front of you, but at times you end up repeateadly singing that song just because one of your friend likes it and continuously plays in front of you

You do not break a habit, or forget a song, you only replace it with another. I am fortunate that most of what I hear in the way of music is from church, because that is what I wake up singing, and drive around humming. Try finding something to deliberately listen to that you will not mind having on your mind. Oh, and good luck. Even a good song gets old after awhile.

Replacing a song...i like that thought (especially after i was singing Prince Ali for 4 months) I agree even a good song gets old after awhile - the best songs are the ones you can go back to and listen to and enjoy...but not get stuck on repeat. Or the songs people play/listen to a hundred years later.

What the heck is the llama song? It has to be weird. A while we were listening to that beck song....Baby your a lost cause. She thought it said, "baby, your a llama". we picked on her so bad for that....after all, who'd sing about a llama. oops guess, we were wrong. To answer your question....I always get ridiculous songs stuck in my head....it's never the good ones.

Its called an earworm. I am proud to tell everyone the name of this condition when they say they have a song stuck in their head, because the name was coined at the headlining school here in the city, University of Cincinnati. Here is the story on that: http://www.business.uc.edu/earworms As for me, recently I have had the song that was made popular again by the movie Madagascar, "Move it" stuck in my head off and on. As soon as I get it out of my head either a promo for the sequel, or the car commercial plays that infectious beat and off I go again for another two days humming it to myself! But I guess there are worse songs lol.

I get songs stuck in my head quite often. It depends - sometimes it is something stupid. Sometimes it is a song off the radio that is still playing in my head while I sleep so I am hearing it AS SOON as I wake up (that's annoying when it is days on end). I have found the BEST way for me to get a song out of my head is getting it stuck in someone else's. Cruel? Yes. Effective? Yes. Funny? YOU BET! :)

Hey saundyl, It sounds pretty strange at first to hear but It sometimes happen, It have happened with me too. Mostly It happens when you hear the same song again and again for quite a few times. With me a song from one of the TV serial which I hate most got stuck and often found myself humming that for a while.

Bird, b-bird, bird is the word the word the word - bird - bird is the word the word the... Please remind me to stop watching Family Guy. Last night, Peter Griffin sang Bird is the Word about sixty thousand times, and as a result I've had it in my head all day. I couldn't help but thinking in shock and horror "I've married Peter Griffith" because my husband is the KING of singing annoying songs. Usually one or two lines only and usually out of tune. So now I'm married to Peter Griffith AND I have possibly the most annoying song in the history of the world stuck in my head. Hey everybody have you heard, everybody's heard that the bird is the word!
