Frankly I think they should have a runoff as they did in Georgia. I guarantee it would be a landslide if that happened. The only reason the election is so close is because many Obama supporters, who wouldn't show up for a runoff, voted straight Democrat without ever thinking of who Al Franken is or how bad he is for this country. It could have been Mickey Mouse with a D next to his name and he would have gotten just as many votes as Franken if not more.

I was under the impression Minnesota was a rather liberal state so I really don't see why you'd predict a landslide. Also, isn't it up to the individual states to decide if they have to have a runoff or not? I'd think that would be rather expensive. Annie

Of course it's up to the states to decide. I neither said, nor implied otherwise. I think it would be a landslide because democrats wouldn't show up to vote for Al Franken. Right now it's looking like he could win based solely on bad decisions from the incompetent canvassing board. Here are some examples: http://johnrlott.tripod.com/other/ColemansXs.html

Have no idea what Al Franken stands for, except that he is democrat and Coleman is Republican but it shows that votes do count and if Franken gets in because the Republican supporters thought they had enough and some stayed home, well it is the fault of those who did not get out and voted. Of course, it could be that the extra votes for Franken were illegal and were the result of stuffing the ballots, but by the time you find out, it will be too late.

If Franken wins the real reason will be the canvassing boards work towards giving him votes he didn't earn and taking votes away from Norm Coleman that were clearly placed for him. Take a look at the links I posted for Annie.

i agree and don't understand how it can be a legit win after recounting the ballots for so long.

It will be the year of Al Franken and the Senate of Al Franken. Whenever a bill comes up for a vote we should all ask ourselves, "How does Al Franken feel about this?"...lol! Annie

At the rate this canvassing board is going they'll hand this one to Franken and it will forever be marked as a bogus win. Take a look at how they're "divining" the will of voters. http://johnrlott.tripod.com/other/ColemansXs.html http://johnrlott.tripod.com/other/FrankensXs.html

Are they still going to be counting votes next December or do you think they'll have a winner by then? Personally, I don't like Franken and I agree with the poster above who commented on the importance of voting. Each one does count.

I know this may seem funny to many, but to me it proves how important it is to vote. This is a great example of how much your individual votes can count.

The fix is already in. The comic genius turned scummy crooked politician Al Franken will win.. But he'll never be legitimate.
