I always wish that I can travel around the world! If I unexpectedly receive a large amount of money, I will go to Iceland for a holiday with my parents! Since the world become warmer and warmer, to be honest, I doubt I can still visit there many years later! Also, I will buy these people who have helped me lots of presents! How can I ever repay (you for) your kindness? Well, some people still live from hand to mouth! So, finally, I will donate something to them.

If the amount was substantial I would put it into a trust and let me and my immediate family live off the interest. Of course I would upgrade my gouse and upgrade my old car and maybe a new computer and big screen. Other than that I would not piddle away all the money I would try and conserve it and make money work for me instead of the other way around that I had to work for money.

I meant a big screen television. I think it would be nice to watch the odd movie with a larger screen in high definition rather than the old tube set I have been watching. I have ingrained in be to be frugal though it seems I have been on the bottom of the income bell curve and old habits would be hard to break. Most people would splurge the money away until they are broke again but it would be against my nature. I would still live modestly as you can only drive one car at a time and sleep in one bed at a time. Not like these movie stars that have huge multi-room masnsions and sometimes several houses in various parts of the country, then wag their fingers at the rest of us telling us to buy a new hybrid like them. I seem to be rambling again.

I would probably do what everyone always says theyll do. Id finish school, Hopefully use some of it to buy a house, give my family some of the money, I have a car I like so I probably wouldnt buy another and Id be able to maintain it with the money. I'd probably put some in a retirement fund too. I guess it would depend on how much. If it were just a few hundred thousand I would just finish school, give some to the family, and put some in a retirement fund. I dont have kids but if I did maybe put some aside for them when theyre adults.

A few hundred thousand dollars? It is far from enough! As you know, I dream whatever I desire for! So, I wish that I will have 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 dollars!

I have no idea or chance of getting any money.Because in life I have never got anything by chance. Even my hard earned things re many time I am not getting. I am very unlucky person. But in hypothetical situation, may be most part I will save for future and spend some on travel and some gadgets.

Well the fist thing which i will do will be ofcourse shoping and then after will travel all around the world and even their i will shop alotand of course buy some beautiful gifts for my parents and family. I just hope that i do get it some day lols......

With my current state, I would probably pay off as much debt as I could then leave some for emergency fund. If there is anymore left, I would use the money to start a business or franchise one. I would like to make sure that the money will not just run out without establishing a business that will enable me to generate more cash flow. Then I would probably travel to places with my family just like you.

I would love to give some part of the money to the people who need it. Not the beggars who are fit to work but do not want to work and earn. but i would give it to people who have shortage of money but do some work and get some small amount of money to just survive the day...atleast they have their self esteem and work to eat and not take the easy way of begging and getting money. I would love to keep major part of the money fro my sons education and with some amout i would also like to travel some parts of the world.

If I got a large sum of money unexpectedly, I would e questioning where it came from!!
If it were mine, and not some mistake, I would first help my family to get out of debt. Then, I would build my business more, and buy a ranch in the country to have a place for troubled and homeless kids to go.

This is a nice question. I will..... go out and have a good mean with chicken tandoori, fish masala and rice. Then, I will go for shopping and buy nice under garments, jeans, hand bags, and purse. Then... I will go for a long vaccatiion with my husband... then..... the list continues. Lol.

i will go for a World tour, go to my favorite places, i most go United States, It is one of the favorite i like to visit, mostly Los Angeles, New York, London than i go for a Europe, Switzerland, France and a lot. I will first list out the most attracted and favorite tourist places in the world and i first wish to visit there

If I receive a large amount of money, I honestly don't know what to do with it. Like the movie, that money might cause me trouble, or something else. Because I have no idea where the money come from, or its source. I might use it cautiously. I love to have some money, but there is no free lunch, isn't there?

I would definitely start my own businesses and since the money was unexpected, I wouldn't have the qualms to take risks. Taking risks gives me a high more than anything else. It is an absolute joy to see oneself take risks and make it through. I dont care much for failures so it wouldn't affect my psyche. Ofcourse I would also spend a part of it for my own luxury. I would also donate a part of it to other people. May that unexpected money reach me soon

First,I would buy a much bigger house to my parents.And then I would like to travel around the world with my whole family.After I came back, I would like to invest the rest money for the company of my husband.

Oh if only! The first thing I'd do is to buy myself a little place of my own, I crave independence, freedom and my privacy, I yearn to live alone, I can't live with people I desperately would love to have enough money to get my little place, doesn't have to be a grand mansion, just a nice self contained place away from NOISY neighbours! The area has to be quiet, away from busy roads, away from noise pollution, beside the ocean would be wonderful. But I'd think I would fly to New Zealand first because it's a place I've dreamed about going to, an all expensive paid holiday, personal tour guide and 5 star hotel!

What I would do with the money depends on just how large the sum of money would be. If it were a few thousand, I'd just bank it. If it were several thousand, I'd share with our 2 children to help them get out of debt. If it were a few million, I'd pay off our children's debts and set up a trust fund for each of our 5 grandchildren to pay for their education. I'd make sure that the money could only be used for that purpose. To be able to pay for our grandchildren's education would be my dream. Our oldest grandchild is already in college and has recently become unemployed. Her parents still have 2 other children at home, and are struggling to pay their bills.

Let's hope the large sum of money is really large, hopefully more than a billion dollars. I would use part of it to purchase annuity insurance, those kind that pay money forever. This is to make sure that I will have money as long as I live. Then use part of the money to buy properties in 2 or 3 countries. Spend another part of it for a long holiday with family. Give some money to friends, relatives and some charities. Guess not much money left now.

Me personally, it would depend on the amount. If it were something greater than $50,000, then I would put a down payment on a house of our liking and pay off the majority of our bills, then save the rest for emergency purposes.
If my parents should ever pass away, praying that they never do though, I would get approximately 2 million from their life insurance policies, minus their bills and expenses. I am an only child, so they have already discussed this issue with me. I would get their house, vehicles, etc. Of course, I would keep everything just because it's from them and I would want the memories.

I would definitely pay off my debt and get those student loans paid off. I would buy a home and then invest the rest. I would also donate to a worthy charity as well as donating goods to the local homeless shelter.

Life will be a lot more easier I will by a house for my sister Clear my debts Get a car for myself buy a new laptop & a lcd tv visit places which i can only dream of right now I think no need to say that i live a luxurious life i will buy a bungalow for myself with swimming pool & all the modern amenities
