Can "no response" discussions be recycled?

I was wondering...can we recycle old discussion questions that have no response? I have some 3 year old discussion questions that I'd like to recycle, but didn't know if we could. Does anybody know for sure? And if we can recycle them, do we need to change the title and/or the tags?

mysdianait is correct on that one. I have had a friend go back and respond to my old one just so they can get resolved if nothing else. Another option however would be to contact myLot and ask them to delete the specific discussion and then post it like it is a brand new discussion since the original never got a response.

Just starting this discussion will get rid of some of those no response ones. I know you have one less now than you did a few minutes ago.

Yes! And I thank you for it. I have so many. Enjoy taking a look at more of them. And I have a new friend out of it too.

i do not know what the TOS are on this matter, but it seems to me that it would be acceptable to repackage the old discussions.

Mostly, it's the ideas or the titles. I would reword the discussion. But I was wondering how MyLot would feel about it, since they have paid out for the original already.

Discussions should not be repeated. However old discussions can be revived. There are many older discussions coming back to life recently. If the 'no response' discussion is your own I suggest you PM a friend asking them to respond on it and if it is an older discussion by another user you can respond yourself, hoping it will get a new lease of life.

Old discussions should not be recycled, and just changing the tags and title doesn't really count for making it new. Adding responses sort of recycles it. Or, if you reword it, or change it a bit, then it's different and new again. Rewriting is always a good option, because perhaps the original wording is why it wasn't responded to in the first place. Good luck however you choose!

I don't think it would be worth it to try and revive that old a discussion. It seems like it would be a better idea to re-write it and hope for the best. If it was a really imprtant discussion to you, you could try to get some friends to respond to it and revive it, but if it is a current topic, you should maybe just re-write and make it different for today!
