Qualifying for survey sites question

I am on somewhat of an endeavor to keep making some extra money here. I have joined ptc sites, paid e-mail sites and the like and I am still trying to find something of substance. Right now I am back to questioning those survey sites. I believe I have stopped trying them primarily because of not being qualified and the like and I feel that I had wasted my time. I was wondering how many sites out there have surveys where you can be qualified for most of them and get paid.

I'm a member of two survey sites but I don't make anything from them. I rack up points and use the points a couple times a year to purchase gift cards so we can go out to eat free. If you like I can share these sites with you. You let me know...

Thank you for your reply. I really do appreciate it. I am hard pressed to find something that is legitimate and that will be worthy of my time. I have seemed to go back and forth with these gpt sites with what seems to be forever! I just can't help to be money minded to an extent and I need some extra income. Times are tough as you know. I don't think that I would mind learning about your survey sites. Racking up points could be a good option for me. Converting points into gift cards really isn't a bad idea at this point. Anything that could possible help my family would be great. Take care.

Hi Bama - I am a member of lightspeed, mypoints, and nfo mysurvey. It does take awhile to get enough points but I'm not using it for earning extra money...just for a free meal every now and then. Good luck to you and I hope I helped you!

I belong to a bunch of survey sites. I'm finding that it is getting harder and harder to qualify for the surveys. One of the survey sites that I always seem to get paid something every month is Opinion Outpost.

Thank you for your reply. I know how you feel about it being harder and harder to qualify. I have had my share of problems some time ago. It also seemed that I tried to qualify and went through a bunch of pages with some of those sites and I felt pretty much like I wasted my time! I know that there has got to be something out there that I could qualify for. I just wanted it to be consistent. Just like everyone else I really could use the extra income. Mylot here is a great site in itself for money making and reliability. Also making friends is a great incentive. Take care and thanks once again.

I think they are all the same, the people who want the survey what a certain type of person, and so you will find that very where. I gave up on those things and after a while I get bored with them too.

Lightspeed is easy to qualify for and you get points that you can convert to gift cards. Survey Spot, Global Test Market, Mindfield Online and Opinion Outpost are also ones that I tend to qualify for and make money at. Give them a try. Unfortunately, I think most of the sites are now looking for young Hispanic women who have children still at home. It seems that the sites are concentrating on that demographic because in a few years they will be the majority in the U.S.

I just unsubscribed from Survey Spot today because all of the surveys they gave me were only for a sweepstakes entry. If I'm going to take the time to take a survey I want to be compensated, not given an entry that I have a slim chance of winning.

I get enough from Survey Spot to stay with them, but I don't do any survey that lasts more than a few minutes if it's just for an entry. Usually I won't bother at all. I wonder if anyone ever wins there? I remember one guy asking about how to get his winnings from Survey Spot so I guess someone does occasionally.

I have only qualified for a few of them but I keep trying and them somedays that I just hit the delete button and I'm good to go. I know its not that I qualified that much but when I do it is fun. There are days where I try and try and no. But I used to but that is when I had a child age 12 no longer. He is now 19. Well keep trying sometimes you get one. I have a few that I get paid not alot but I get points and then so many points you get $10.00 that is better then nothing. Your friend onlydia

I've had good success with SurveyHead, Lightspeed, and Ipsos. YouGov are good but UK based (although they do provide a link) Toluna is fun, but it's hard to get to the end of a survey without being screened out. Ciao are reliable but quite often you get screened out of the better paid ones. Valuable Opinions have cashed out pretty well just lately. See my new thread under "make money" for more ...

The problem that I have with survey sites is the very thing you have stated. I hate answering so many questions providing them with information only for them to tell me that I am not qualified for the survey. I belong to a couple of survey sites that 'pay' even for surveys that you do not qualify for. Of course you do not get full credit, but at least they do give you something for your time. The thing is that these sites do not pay cash. They pay in points that you can redeem for gift cards or products. They way I look at it, though, is that I get the gift cards that allow me to save money on the things that I use the gift cards for. Amazon.com, Walmart, and other major retailers have gift cards available for 'rewards.' I have quite a few non-survey sites that I belong to that have paid me for my efforts. We are not talking huge sums of money, but an extra $30 here and $20 there is really nice.

Most of the survey side excludes Indian members. So, I can't provide you the help you are looking from me but the sites which did include India, I enjoyed fiiling up the surveys. Though they were done for free, i.e. they didn't pay me even a single cent for the job I did. I did it because it came into my email box!

I actually get qualified for almost 90% of them and I am earning pretty good from them. There are some sites that pay more for the same survey posted on the other. There are sites that pay a minimum amount even if you don't qualify. But I love sites that are from the company itself and they pay for opinions that are applicable to everyone. I love taking surveys

I have a few sites for you to check out. I have been paid many times by the sites that I have listed as banners in my profile either by paypal, check and gift cards. Feel free to check them out. I can also give you other links that I have been paid doing surveys and they are very easy to qualify. You may send me a message and I will send you the links.

honestly? i mean i thought it's only me who realized that i cannot be qualified to be on those survey sites because i'm from asia and those surveys are meant to benifit u.s. based companies thus requiring u.s. based residents.

I joined AW survey, their site was badly decided and I only tried to fill out some of their surveys and then I gave up. I think they are scam. I then never join others survey sites anymore. But before I joined AW survey, I have joined 2 survey sites in my country, they are held by a large company, like ACNielsen. They both are trusted, but I am seldom selected by them to do surveys, but I earned some cash coupons from them. ^.^
