Does your dog just start barking at nothing. Hes barking and barking but theres nobody outside. He does that once in awhile.

dogs don't just bark when it feels that there is someone outside roaming the house, dogs also barks when it is hungry, or wants to play with you. you can easily tell the difference on the way dogs bark what they want, when someone is outside, the bark of the dog sounds like it's in rage, when it is hungry it is accompanied with being playful.

Barking dogs seldom bite..goes the saying. Yours might be making its presence felt all the time.No harm in doing it.

Maybe your dog saw a little animal outside such as a squirrel or rabbit. We have an older dog that won't bark unless someone comes to the door, if he can hear them. Once the person is inside, he won't quit barking until the person pets him. He's a little mini-daschaund who is friendly and loves people. His disposition is fantastic.

Oh, we had a dog like that once. It was a little Sheltie and I think it might have been a bit mad. It was fine until we went to bed and then she would bark all night without stopping. She went to live with a friend of ours at that time, and behaved perfectly for him. She ended up living there.. - Derek

I think he is barking and barking because he really senses soemthing. My mother in law's dog does that. He is going to freak out and that is something, He is always barking at nothing. he tends to ddrive everyone craxy with his incessant barking which appears to be at nothing. I like that kind of thing.

Hey there! Our dog does that too. It barks at nothing at all. Maybe, because dogs has a stronger sense than man, it sees something that man cannot see with their bare eyes. Creepy huh.lol Have a nice day. Happy posting!!

Their is also a group of dog here in our street and one night all of them are barking so i will try to look who is outside because i can't sleep also because of their noise. When i look outside nothing is there. My sister told me about one belief, she said when the dog is barking outside and no one is there maybe they are seeing some spirits. They can see it but we cannot see it.
