If you could have any type of pet, what would you choose?

And when I say any, I mean any. Real or imaginary. Make one up if you think it would be the perfect pet. Personally, I would love to be able to have a tame dragon. I don't know why, but ever since I was little I've had a strange fascination with them and I've always wished I could own one. xD It may sound weird, but oh well. So what pet would you have if you could have any pet (barring reality and money issues, of course)?

I'd like to have a pet Snake. It does sound weird. It would be an interesting pet to have. It is low maintenance. I just have to find a breed that does not grow soooo big.

I would love to have a pet snake, too....if I wasn't so afraid of them. And I'm not afraid like terrified. I mean, I've held snakes before, especially BIG snakes that were about as long as I am tall, but I just think they're kind of creepy. I don't know why.

Yeah, a pet store should definitely let you hold one. My pet store let me hold my bunny and all sorts of animals before I chose one to buy. I got to hold one at a local zoo type thing. They were introducing snakes to people and they put a giant one around our shoulders. It was kind of heavy. I can't really tell you what it felt like, though. I mean, it felt like a snake. xD Sort of scaley, I guess, but not really.

For a real one, I'd to have a penguin or an elephant. Baby elephants are so adorable. They have fuzzy hair and they look really cute. So I want a baby elephant that doesn't grow to its adult size. Kind of like mini elephants/toy elephants, like how some breeds of dogs are. Haha. For imaginary pets, I would love to own a griffin or a dragon. Maybe when they grow older and bigger, I could ride them. :P

Oh, griffins are gorgeous! Definitely good for riding, too. xD And elephants ARE pretty cute. But I'd be afraid it would accidentally squash me. :P Even babies can be pretty big.

I know what you mean. Elephants can get pretty big. I should be careful when I'm playing with them. Imagine an elephant running towards you when you come home and giving you a "trunk hug". A griffin is a mythical creatures which has an eagle's head but the body of a lion. It has eagle wings too. :)

Aww...that would be really neat, and quite admirable! I always wanted to take in all the animals that would be killed at shelters and such. I feel bad for them.

Oh a tiger. absolutely beautiful animals and I could also put up a sign saying "Beware of the cat!" And mean it A dragon sounds good though, and "Beware of the dragon - trespassers will be incinerated" sounds good as well

LOL. Imagine how much more sign makers could make with that!

A cat. I know it's boring, but I'd choose a cat. A scruffy, non-pedigree, rescued/adopted little moggy. They're so full of love and are wonderful companions. No animal is better, in my opinion!

You can have mine! Lol...just kidding. We actually just adopted a stray from the animal shelter yesterday. :) He's currently hiding under the bed and only coming out for a few minutes at a time to explore...hehe.

How about a unicorn? You would be the only one on your block with one for sure. I think it would be very unique and one that is the best for you. If you want a horse you would certainly have a very unique opportunity to have one if you had a unicorn. It is the best of the two worlds best of the horse and best of the other world.

That's a great point! I think my mother would definitely agree with you and choose a unicorn. She's more obsessed with unicorns than I am with dragons, which is quite sad!

Well, our family really love pets. At home, we had rabbits, dogs, iguana, love birds, parrots, and chickens. Actually, it is my mother who really love to take care of animals. Me? I love dogs and rabbits. In all of our pets at home, these were my favorite because I can hug them, play with them and most of all they are cute.. If I'm a rich person, I would like to have a pet tiger because they are so cute and very brave. I find it very interesting on how to have a pet with wild animals. But of course, I should have a lot of many to be able to give all of their needs particularly the foods they were eating and shelter where they will live. I think having a wild animals at home is very amazing and for sure no thief wants to get inside our house...

While I love both dogs and cats my choice would be cats. Cats are so incredibly entertaining and despite what many people thing, they are extremely loving.

I would want a Baby panda bear ( one that would never grow old and grow big ) hehe. But realistically, I would want lots of dogs, does not really matter what the breed is, as long as it is dog. =)

That is a hard choice!!! Realistically I have always wanted an English Sheepdog, and a French Bull dog. But if it existed I would have to pick a unicorn!!! Or I might have to go with a dragon too. What a great question!
